I just have not been in the mood to journal much this week...does anyone else get like that? I've been reading and commenting sporadically but I just haven't had a lot to journal about and I haven't felt like typing stuff lol...so umm...lemmee try and recap my oh so exciting week....
Monday...worked came home made dinner...we had spaghetti...
Tuesday...worked...I started decorating the office a little bit for Christmas...went to the grocery...came home made dinner...watched some tv...and played Sims...
Wednesday...worked...put dinner together (yummiest beef and noodles ya ever ate...husband called me Yoder Johnson - he's a nerd) husband and I went outside and walked the dogs....we decided that we both needed some exercise so we would like to start walking regularly...husband went to the doctor on Monday and his blood pressure (how old do we sound!!) is still a little high so the doc changed his medication and husband has also been having some elbow pain...the doc (or "quack" as my husband calls all doctors) pretty much just empathized with him...lol...anyway so Wednesday husband went and got some different training collars for Chaos (our male husky that we have to keep tied up because if we don't he chases the neighbor's cows)...husband has began to worry that with only Trinity loose, coyotes might gang up on her...so he'd really like to be able to let Chaos run too but since he has been unresponsive to the "invisible" fence we have to keep him on a leash...which I hate because I think doggies should be free to roam (to an extent)...so ANYWAYS...lol...Wednesday we had a very nice (but cold) walk...and our angel doggies were on their best behaviour...Chaos was totally acting like he could do no wrong...I think it is just a ploy to make us trust him and then he'll go chase the cows some more...the cows are sooooo cute too...they are baby calfs...they can't be very old at all, the ones that are closest to the house...there is about six of them and I just stood out there watching them play with each other...the calfs were like head butting each other and then chasing and kicking around...so adorable...I don't know actually how much exercising we got done because we stopped a lot to pet the dogs and test Chaos and watch the cows...but it was nice...but so much for trying to make it a routine because we haven't had an oppurtunity to walk again...lol...Wednesday night LOST was on and hubby watches that too so we cuddled on the couch and watched Lost....oh also, I left work early to get a cake for my boss, her birthday was on Thursday...our criminal docket day...lucky her...lol..it turned out to also be one of the public defenders' birthday and they brought a cake too...so we had tons of cake...but we couldn't have planned it better because I bought a white cake and they brought a huge chocolate cake....
Thursday went to work...oh I had also bought her a little poinsetta and one for me too...lol because it was so cute...so I left the cake in the trunk of my car over night and I also left the flowers out in the car...only I didn't realize how cold it was going to get that night so...I killed our flowers...blah...oh well....
so anyway...work wasn't too bad on Thursday...actually criminal docket is one of my favorite things about my job...it's a busy day but all the prosecutors and public defenders and probation officers are nice and most of them are a hoot....the probation officers bring candy and it is sort of a party atmosphere at times lol...
There used to be this wacky judge that retired a few years ago...but he was a very unorthodox fellow...one attorney named DBB was telling me about this one client of his that was before Judge F. This guy was kind of young and he was bi-polar and had a lot of issues and things...so they worked with him a lot and finally got him turned around to the point that they were going to dismiss the case...so, the day in court came and they finished all the proceedings and Judge F. asked DBB if he minded if he talked with his client privately in chambers...DBB said, that would be ok with him...so DBB waited in the hall and a little while later his client came out....DBB asked him what they talked about...his client pulled a green pepper out of his pocket....DBB said, what's that? The boy said...it'a a green pepper...Judge F. gave it to me...he called it the Green Pepper of Hope....lol...umm ok....apparently this Judge went on a mission trip to Guatemala and that is supposedly some sort of thing they do there...I don't think it really went as well here though...just kinda earned him the reputation of being a quirky fellow...
anyway...I'm rambling....
Thursday after work Jimmie and I met at mom and dad's...they cooked Thaanksgiving dinner again...yum...then we played some poker and then we came home and I watched Survivor....
and that brings us to Friday...had a good day at work...nothing too eventful happened...Jimmie called me and asked if I wanted to go out to dinner...umm...yeah! lol....so we went to the Mexican place...oh first I dropped some jewelry I made over to my mom's house to be delivered to my grandmother...grandma asked if I'd make a bracelet and necklace for her to give to her sister Anna...I finally got that done...I wanted to be sure to have it done way before Christmas because I didn't want Grandma freaking out about it...lol...so while I watched Survivor Thursday night I made the bracelet because I'd already finished the necklace...and then I made Jimmie's "step-mother" her necklace...she collects koala bears and when we were in Gatlinburg I went in a bead shop...and they had a koala bear bead!! so I bought one and I made a necklace with it for step mommy....yay! the necklace turned out lovely....I'm excited about it...I don't know though if she wears a lot of necklaces...she's a different sort of person...but I'm excited to give it to her because ya just don't find a lot of koala bear things....
ok so I have discovered that we have free HBO/Showtime this weekend and The Anchorman is fixin to come on...lol...Jimmie is watching the Knot's Landing reunion show...he is a fan...lol
umm...I'll finish my day thus far...so we ate at our yummiest ever Mexican restraunt and then we went to Walmart...I got some more beads...and husband got dog food and umm I forget what else...lol...we also looked at Playstation games...husband was trying to get an idea of what I want for Christmas (there is a new karoke game out!!)...so then we decided that we should each make lists...so that's what we're gonna do...then we came home...I made some bracelets while he played Playstation poker and then he took a nap and I played poker and then I dozed a little bit and watched All My Children on the soap network...lol
so there's my boring week...it was a nice quiet week compared to the last two weeks around here... it was very nice...nothing broke (that we know of) the leaks are mostly fixed (there was still some minor leaking int he part of the roof that has not yet been replaced as of the other evening, but nothing compared to the wall fountain)...I'm settling in for a nice weekend of crafting...I plan on painting some and making some jewelry...people at work like to buy some of my stuff for Christmas presents so I need to get some things made to take in and peddle...lol...and I may make some items for gift giving as well....::ignoring sister waving her hand:: lol
ok I'm off to watch Anchorman....ya'll have a great evening...sorry it was so long between entries...but ya haven't missed much!!! lol
(((((Journal Goddesses))))))
p.s. ok...so I've been listening to Anchorman while I finish up journaling....I don't think I'm going to watch it...it is looking a little lame...lol...but we'll see I suppose....
ok bye

Oh my! For someone who didn't have a lot going on this week, you sure did have a long entry! LOL! Glad that this week was good. The walks each day sound nice. Hubby and I started that....it didn't quite keep! Oh well! I would love to live where there are cows next door! We used to have cows that lived across the street. Why do you need to know this? Okay, I'll quit boring you! Lots of Love!
The cows DO sound cute :)
Anchorman isn't that lame!! LOL It's one of those that's kinda too silly that it's funny, ya know? There are some really funny parts, but it got too weird for me towards the end...lots of unexpected cameos from the stars, though...
I need to get on the ball with my homemade Christmas gifts, too!! Tonight we're having Daisy & BB, and my friend English & Doctor (Buford danced with/walked English down the isle at our wedding)...Should be fun, but I could've made this a "crafting weekend" too!! LOL :) Oh, well, like I said, we'll have fun :)
Okay, not my journal :) Hope you have a great weekend, and get a lot of stuff done!! :)
Love ya!! :)
