my computer is being soooooo slow.....grrrr.....

lol...

well we had a wonderful Friday evening...we had an unexpected date night! wahoo Husband won a door prize today at safety training - it was a $25.00 gift certificate to one of four restaurants and one of the restaurants we could pick was Bahama Breeze...so as soon as I got home we both changed and hopped in the car and we were off to Bahama Breeze...I'd only eaten there once and husband had never been there...I was a little bummed because my tummy is still a little woozie so I had to eat something mild...lol...no shrimp for me...ugh...lol...I had the grilled chicken and you can get a smaller portion so I got a smaller portion...the grilled chicken was heavenly! oh my goodness...yummmm....husband got some other sort of chicken and then the waiter recommended some sort of side dish that was like some sort of root and they fried it and it tasted very good...I wish I could remember what it was called (and I wish I'd gotten it too! lol but I snagged several off husband's plate)...it was something weird....but it was delish!

Then we had some returns to Kohls so we went to the Kohls by the mall...it was the junkiest Kohls I've ever been in...ya know what I think it was...well they had a lot of sales going on...but also it is a two story Kohls, so it's actually bigger than the Kohls I usually shop at...so the layout was different so I felt all turned around...isn't that goofy...lol...anyway, I got store credit and husband got some store credit too (we both had Christmas gifts to return there)...so we separated to treasure hunt...lol...he found a grill utensil set, which is one of the things that was on his Christmas list that he didn't get so yay! I carried around a blouse for a little bit and then I decided that I was only carrying it around because it was the only thing I was remotely interested in buying and I wasn't that jazzed about it...so I didn't find anything I couldn't live without, plus I was all turned around and flustered lol...(I'm a dork!) so my store credit is good for two years so the next time I'm shopping with my mother and my sister (because we always end up Kohls somehow! lol) I'll use it then. I was really looking for something that just grabbed me like the last time sister and mom and I shopped at Kohl's I got this pink jacket that I absolutely couldn't live without now!! lol....so I was kinda looking for one of those in another color...it really looks nice on me...it makes me feel like I went on one of those makever shows lol...(again...I'm a nerd!) lol but that's what it reminds me of...sister got one in tan and I think I would like one in tan and whatever other color there is! lol....

blah blah blah...so we left Kohls and headed home...on the way home we got DQ I got a blizzard (Reeses Peanut Butter cup with CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM OR PUT SYRUP IN IT TO MAKE ME THINK IT's CHOCOLATE....well that's how I used to have to order them until they started having chocolate ice cream...now it's simpler to get what I want....I'm one of THOSE kind of orderers...ya know very particular about how I want what I want lol) anyway it was a wonderful Blizzard...husband got a chocolate malt and about halfway home I realized that we were both sooooo quiet and totally mezmerized by our ice cream...lol...what a fun evening with the love of my life!

so when we got home...oh wait this is funny...on the way home the song "Another One Bites the Dust" came on the radio...ok so I'm a totally music buff so I was trying to remember who sang that song, and I was swearing that it was Queen....husband kept going no it's not Queen...lol...he thought it was Quiet Riot (he also thought it was Eric CLapton that sang City of Angels....wrong RED HOT CHILLI PEPPERS....lol how in the world do you confuse Red Hot Chilli Peppers with Eric Clapton!!! I guess the same way you confuse Quiet Riot with Queen...Freddie Mercury would be rolling in his grave!!) lalala....so as soon as we got home I rushed upstairs to look up on the internet "Another One Bites the Dust" and sure enough...I WAS RIGHT!!! lol....hehehehe (again...I'm a nerd) after that I logged off so husband could call his dad... lol....and I decided to go play karaoke...I sang and danced...so I sort wiggled off at least some of the dinner and ice cream...lol...I was a complete dork and it was soooo much fun! lol

so now I'm here and I guess that's all I have to say...I think I'm going to play Sims a little before bed....I hope you all have a wonderful Blessed weekend!!
