I would like to make a correction to my previous entry....thank you sister! Bob Russell is the head pastor at Southeast and recently announced his retirement...anyway...I think the book is actually by Dave Stone and they may have collabrated...at any rate...they are both wonderful wise speakers and they do alternate on the radio program too...I just can't keep their names straight! But sister corrected me and I do really appreciate that!
Also, the Song of Solomon is a live conference that they do at places like Southeast Christian..but it is also available on DVD or video...husband and I were talking to Preacher P last night and he said that he highly recommended that any young couple seriously dating and every married couple should go through the lessons becuase it would save tons of conflicts and heart aches...so I guess...check it out...or I'll keep you all updated when we begin it in our Sunday School class...several people in our class have actually been to the seminars and they loved it...I think we missed it becuase it was during tractor pull season or we had a family function last year...I can't remember when that was that they went...
anyway....just wanted to correct my earlier entry and elaborate a little bit about Song of Solomon....
p.s....my husband IS a hillbilly...lol!!! gotta love him!

I would love to go to the Song of Solomon conference.....the last time they had one here (that I knew of) Hubby couldn't go because he was working every weekend. SO, it would be a great thing for us. I might have to look into that!

no I was happy for the correction...actually while I was doing my entry I almost called husband because he can usually remember both ministers' name...I can only usually remember Dave Stone for some reason...I think because he's on the radio more...they are both wonderful speakers!
Isns't it great that your husband isn't working almost continuously now and you all can make those kinds of plans! I'm really happy about that for you! Jimmie and I are kinda rediscovering our frriendship now that he's home so much more...it's really wonderful!
I would love to hear about the Song of Solomon conference. Is that what it is called? I've never heard of it until you mentioned it in your journal. We are doing a CAYAC group (college and young adult corner) and that might be a great study for some of our serious couples!
