A correction....lol

It was totally a small little comment that I made yesterday about a book I'm reading...but I'm anal about stating things correctly lol.....so I'm currently reading a book called 1984 by George Orwell not Orsen Wells...lol....it's a sci-fi ish book written I think in the 40's or 50's....so there ya go...

I'm listening to my Evanescence Cd right now and waiting for the Dif to soak in so I can strip more wallpaper...lol...I tkae my time on a project don't I! I'm almost done though and then it will be painting time! Oh and by the way...thanks Queen for the fabric softner tip...and I will definatley keep that in mind cuz I plan on stripping more wallpaper in this house in the future...but I don't think the paper is real stuck because the Dif is working perfectly....it usually comes off in huge pieces...

anyways...umm...I've heard rumors and whisperings on various websites n stuff that Evanescence is secretly a Christian band...I dunno...I just really dig their music...does anyone else love them? lol....I seem to have way different music taste in some areas than a lot of the Journal Goddesses...but I was just wondering...I want them to have a new cd out! lol

ok...I'm going to go strip wallpaper and jam....sorry this was a strange and rambling entry...oh it was so nice to only work half a day to day...husband didn't work today either and when I got home we ate our lunch out on the porch and then I took a little nap...we'll be heading to Ohio tomorrow morning ish...

Have a blessed Easter Weekend!! HE IS RISEN HE'S ALIVE!!!!

I was thinking this morning of this tradition we used to have at our old church that was so moving and so visual....our church was in a little town and on Good Friday evening we'd all gather at the opposite end and walk through town to the church behind a guy that was dressed like and played the part of Jesus. He carried a huge cross through town and actually sort of reenacted Jesus' walk to Galgotha...the people following him would sing "Were you there" and he'd stumble some...like I said it was very visual and so moving. Then once we were in the sanctuary he would recite a good portion of Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane and words from the cross....it was so powerful and he did that for many years and it has just always made Jesus' journey a little more visible. Jesus did that...went through all that humiliation and pain for you and for me...isn't that a mind trip??!!! HALLELUJAH!!! THANK YOU JESUS!!!

lol...I think I just made this entry worth reading!

anyways...have a blessed Easter Weekend....and hope you find eggs with money in them!!! lol

Sister...I was thinking of that memory too. What a great memory that is. It brings tears to my eyes just to think of it. I can never hear or sing "Were You There" without having that visual. We were blessed.

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! Love ya!!!!

There was a church in TN that was down the road from us that did that too. It was awesome....especially for such a visual learner like me!

I didn't even know that there was a typo in your journal...shows how much I read, huh?

Have a blessed Easter!

Lots of Love!

I like Evanescense too, so you're not alone.

I have also seen Easter programs like that. I'm also a visual person, so it has much more of an impact on me when I see things like that...just like in The Passion of the Christ.

Hope you had a nice Easter!

Evanescense...love that one song...but don't know the name of it, lol!

As a book fanatic, I didn't even notice the typo! LOL Let me know what you think of the book. Not that I need one more book to add to my "want to read" list (I just added 170)...

Hope you had a hoppy easter!

Love in Faith,
Josy
