ok...so I know I know...my last entry was wayyyy long (::looking at Kelley::) lol!! Just kidding...but I do try n keep my entries manageable...but I get off on these tangents and I just type away...lol
I was listening to a radio program on the way home tonight (speaking of tangents lol) about how absurd this new bill is that Congress just passed requiring states to build into their emergency evacuation plan provisions for evacuating people's "companion animals". Were they watching what happened in New Orleans with hurricane Katrina??? I love my "companion doggies", but let's perfect getting people out before we tackle animals...anyway it was a call in show and a lady called in and asked which congressman was going to give up his families's seats on the boat for her four mastiffs (HUGE dogs!)....our fabulous lawmakers at work ladies and gentlemen...

I really just popped on to say that I totally am rooting for Taylor...I called to vote and have only been able to get through once! Husband wanted me to call in a vote for him, but I'm thinking I may not get in again...it's busy busy busy...which is a good sign!
So I agreed with Simon's assesment of the situation...I really liked Taylor's last song! I didn't think Katharine should have repeated two songs...especially songs she has sung within the last two or three weeks....I was really hoping that they were going to let Chris sing too!!! lol When they cut to commercial there toward the end and Ryan said we'll be right back with a special guest I said to husband ohhhh maybe they are going to let Chris sing just for fun!! lol
oh well...we'll see...but sister DON'T CALL me tomorrow night after Idol! lol because I'll probably tape Idol and watch the finale of LOST....oh but I did fill out invitations tonight...I just have to address the envelopes tomorrow and send em out...I'm still trying to think what in lieu of presents we can have people bring...lol...
ok blah blah blah...has anyone else's journal been acting funny today? ok the entry is getting lonngerrrr.... I'm going.....dorkess out...

Yes, Taylor was fantastic....I would love to see him win for many reasons...but one of the reasons is that he doesn't have "the looks" like Katherine does...so I think that would be neat. And I just love him...so there you go!

We DVR'd American Idol last night since we were going out. We missed the first 20 minutes, but saw the 2nd and 3rd songs they sang. I'm ready for this season to be over with....I wanted Chris to win and when they showed him talking with Ryan, I just knew that they were going to let him sing! Oh well! Everybody knows that he should have won! LOL!
Don't read my journal tonight then...cuz I will definately be happy or venting after AI!

Taylor won! I am happy, even though I haven't seen much of the show, I just thought that Taylor was so American Boy...unlike Katherine who I think looks like she's had more plastic (surgery) done to her than my Barbie Doll...I just thought she was so fake and dumb and Taylor sounds so intelligent (even with the southern accent, lol) and mature. Okay, okay my point made...
Ya know, I could give ya a hundred reasons why people do drugs - why I did drugs...but I could just as easily give you a thousand why not to do drugs too. It is sad and those people who make it and sell it, heck, it's so bad they won't even do it themselves! Those people aren't human. Okay, I am on a soapbox today. Sorry, not my journal!
