What a weekend....I don't want it to be over! lol

This is intended to be a quick post...I find when I say that though, the post is enormous lol...so maybe I should say this will be a long post and then it will be short...lol...ok enough of that...

so I've had a long productive weekend and even though I've worked my butt off around the house...I am reluctant to go back to work tomorrow...I just enjoy being around my house and husband and I have done some bonding this weekend....there is something romantic to me about working on the house with my husband...not in a hubba hubba let's get it on sort of romantic way...but in the sense that it is just romantic in a bonding and creating a memory sort of way. Does that make sense?

Like I said it was a productive weekend...on Saturday I spray painted our porch furniture while husband washed the house with my dad's pressure washer...so by Saturday evening the house and the porch furniture were gleaming...I'm just amazed at how well that pressure washer thingy works...it's like we have new siding...

ok so Saturday when I ran out to the Dollar General to get more spray paint, I also picked up this little $15.00 two foot pool....I figured that it would be big enough to at least put a raft in and float (one raft only please lol)...so Saturday husband and I set that up but the water was way too cold to use that day...and it was still a little chilly on Sunday but when we came from chruch...I got in on the raft and floated around...it was way relaxing... so we didn't do much else on Sunday....it was a restful day....

but today well husband had to work this morning...so I slept in til about 9:30 or so and I got up and got a bowl of cereal and then I decided that I did not like the invitaitons that I bought for our parents party so I decided to make them instead and I'm much happier now...so I printed those out and by that time husband was home with paint for the porch....so that is how we spent the rest of the day...painting the porch...I'm telling you what, it is one of those things where it sucks do it but once it is done it is so worth it...the porch is gleaming....it looks sharp!

Well I have to tell you that I was also the entertainment of the day because, well ya know those humoungous carpenter bees...the ones that would probably bite rather than sting....those were flying around and also waspers...and I know I should just stand still and they won't bother me....but man, I just can't....I unvoluntarily lose my mind and run like a crazy lady....I know it's riduculous...at one point when I couldn't get up fast enough, I almost hypervenilated...husband thought for sure I'd just been stung...geez oh pete's...that's the thing to...like you'd think that I thought they were out to kill me or something...I'm not allergic...just terrified of stinking bees and waspers...

alrighty well...I am getting sleepy so I think I will end on that note...I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend...my prayers are with you all! Have a wonderful and blessed week...

oh one more thing...this morning before I woke up I was having this dream that when I went to the American Idol concernt, I somehow knew all the people sort of...like we all hung out and were friends...and at the concert Chris and Elliott came to my seat and sang to me in front of everyone...I didn't want to wake up!! lol Do you think it's a sign that that is gonna happen????? lol j/k...a girl can dream though....I think I need to detox from AI...lol

Nerd out....
