What a beautiful day!

I don't really have an update on my friends husband...I know she is staying at the hospital and that her family is taking care of the kids and attending to Pretty Chick's needs...I've also been told that apparently it's "fixable" so it sounds as if it was a mild stroke...but I just can't fathom how Pretty Chick is feeling right now...I FREAKED out when husband burnt his hand and one doctor mentioned skin grafts...not comparing a burn to a stroke but my point is that when emotional things like this hit, Pretty Chick and I are very similar in how we react to these types of situations...so if I freaked over a burn...oh man...I just can't know how I would react in her shoes...so please still keep them in your prayers...thanks!

anyways...it was an absolutely gorgeous day here! I did some house cleaning but I couldn't bring myself to stay in the house all day! lol...

ok so last night hubby and I went to dinner at the mexican restaraunt in LA...we both really like the food there...and they bring your food out amazingly fast...I don't know how they do it because it is always so hot and delicious...but most of the waiters there do not speak English...so sometimes it can be amusing to watch them try to take people's orders and if there is a problem...oh man...so the table beside us had ordered some sort of red wine...they got a pinkish wine...so they were trying to tell their waiter it was the wrong wine (I know absolutely zilch about wine except to say that any wine I've ever tasted is yuck). So they finally figured out that they were out of the wine that these people wanted...then their food came out and thank heavens we were done eating and ready to leave...because they got some sort of seafood dish that stunk to high heavens...ugh....

so when we got home, I went out and emptied my $15.00 pool so I could put fresh water in it for the weekend...I'm not putting chemicals in a $15.00 pool...lol...I did however buy a net thingy to clean it out and that was $19.00...lol...so I spent more on the cleaning apparatus than the pool...but I did get in there for a little bit today but the water was still too chilly...but when the sun was out it was comfortable and I just floated on my raft...I didn't place the pool exactly level so I have a "deep" end and a "shallow" end lol...and it is so heavenly just to float around out there...oh man...but then today I started freezing so I got out and laid in the sun to dry off and then I went to the porch, pulled a few weeds in my flowerbed...read a book and took a nap out on the porch...I just wanted to be outside! lol

not much else to say...husband and I just finished watching Ice Age...and now he's sleeping...I popped on the tinker with my summery layout...it's funny, when you aren't looking for certain graphics you find them...but when you are in search of a specific graphic (i.e. flip flop graphics) they are no where to be found lol....

but anyway...umm...hope everyone has a wonderful morning at church tomorrow and a fun day....praying for each and every one of you! (even the lurkers! lol)
