Happy Friday!!

BIG BROTHER BLAH BLAH BLAH WARNING!! Lol

Poor Jase…lol…that was the weirdest feeling last night…feeling SORRY that Jase was being voted out…after as much as I wanted him to go away in Season 5!! Lol…he still needed to go because I’m all about the S6 people!! They are dominating the comps…anyways…blah blah blah…I was sad they didn’t get rid of Will…he is such a sneaky snake…but I guess it’d be boring without another strong alliance in the house to balance out the S6 people…

And what up Kaysar fans….does anyone agree that after shaving his head, he’s even more handsome!!?? Although, my mom and I were talking about his game strategy thus far and we’re not sure he’s as good a player of the game as we’ve been giving him credit for…lol…but maybe he has a plan up his sleeve? I dunno…

I think the thing about BB is the strategy and the people watching aspect of it…it’s just fun to watch!!

END BIG BROTHER MUSINGS….

So what else has been happening…it’s been a semi-busy work week…and we’ve been working out in the garden in the evenings…last night I fell asleep while husband was cooking dinner…he wanted fajitas and I do not know how to make those nor do I ever order them when we go out to eat…but so anyway…he cooked supper so that was nice…and umm tonight he is going to a tractor pull and I’m going to a karaoke party (yay!). It’s kind of an out-of-my-box thing cuz I will only know a couple of people but it sounded fun…so and then tomorrow there is an auction that I want to go to and also a Harvest Festival in our county….we’ve never been to that and we want to check it out…

Also at some point this weekend I want to make it the library….there was an article in the paper this week and a book was referenced called Up to 20 by Josephine M. Turner (I’m sort of listing that detailed information just in case Josy has the book in her collection by some miraculous stroke of luck!! Lol). Anyway the article was about a home in our county, which is abandoned at this point in its life but at one time was the home of the first millionare in our county. Now, the book is important because about a year or so after we moved into our home, I may have journaled about this a long time ago, but anyway, this older woman stopped by and said that she had grown up in our house and had lived there until about 1960 or so. And she told me that at that time our house was around a hundred years old and that there was a book called Up to 20, which was written by a woman that had lived in our house when she was a little girl and there were pictures of our house in the book.

Well, after her visit I was very excited to start researching and I was unable to find that book. So when I was reading the paper the other evening and saw that this article referenced that book I was just beside myself with excitement!!! So I have finally tracked down the book and our library has it…I checked there way back when I was looking for it, but I wasn’t sure of the authors name and they were unable to locate it….but now I know it’s there so I have to go check it out!!

I’m a history nerd! Lol….

So anyways…I’ve babbled on enough…it’s Friday and time to go home so I think I will…

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

How neat about the history of your house! I hope you can get the book.

I, too, was sorry to see Jase go, even though I didn't like him in his season. I'm not so fond of the S6 people, although, I think Howie is funny and Kaysar is hot! I liked him better with his hair, but to each his own. I'm kind of rooting for Chicken George, just b/c I tend to go for the underdog.

Well, enjoy your evening karaoke-ing. Have a good one!
