Ya know...one of the biggest blessings about journaling is that any of us can post a prayer request here and know that someone will be praying with us and for us....
My friend Pretty Chick, who's husband was diagnosed with MS this past summer, is at the hospital today with her 16 year old son, who is having surgery. Preliminary tests have shown that he has a high probability to have either lymphoma or some sort of auto-immune disease. He has several growths on his lymph nodes in his groin area.
I'm not familiar with what these diseases are but it sounds serious and well, honestly, it just sucks! How much can one family bear??
My heart is very heavy for them. This would suck anytime of the year but around the holidays to have to be dealing with this stuff. Man oh man. My heart just goes out to them. PLease keep them in your prayers. Ultimately, I know in my heart that God is in control of their situtation but it's just really tough to watch people I care about struggle like this...so many questions...
It also makes me highly aware to be extra thankful for the blessings in my own life. Things really do get popped into perspective when ya think about how others are struggling so much.
Thank you for the prayers!
Husband and I went to see The Nativity Story last night - beautiful movie! Very touching and thought provoking....I couldn't help but tear up a lot!
On a completely unholy and inappropriate remark - the guy that plays Joseph - hottie! LOL!!! Seriously though, he was beautiful!
ok on that note, I think I'll go....you obviously should pray for me too...I'm not right!! lol
Merry CHRISTMAS!

Oh that poor family. What a horrible thing to deal with on top of everything else that has been going on the last few months. Praying for them and for you to be such a strong friend for them!
Lots of Love!
