Untitled cuz I couldn't think of one.....

So this morning on the way to work I was listening to the radio and when there is a space shuttle in the air, at the beginning of any story about the space shuttle, they usually play a little snippet of the song that the astronauts were played as a wake-up song each morning. This morning they were apparently woken up to “Indescribable” by Chris Tomlin. I mean that is what the music was playing in the background. They never really came out and said “This is the song they played for wake-up music this morning.” But I caught it just because I love that song. Usually if it’s a more mainstream song – like a Beatles song or whatever- they will clearly state that this was the wake up song. Have I rambled on about that enough? I thought it was really cool if that was the wake-up song anyway!

Not much new going on with me. The extra dosage of chlomid is making me a basket case. I really do not know how this stuff is supposed to help you get pregnant when your spouse has to walk on pins and needles around you because at one moment I might pummel him and the next I just want to cry or have an anxiety attack. I’ve been freaking out about the strangest things. It’s just lovely, let me tell you…well, I suppose most all of you know this already and you do have children so I guess somehow you found time between the mood swings to procreate. It’s very challenging!

We did have squash and zucchini fresh from our garden last night! YUM. And actually, last year I froze a bunch of green pepper, so I added that with the squash and zucchini and a little bit of onion sauted in a skillet and served over a little bit of rice last night for supper – YUM! Husband made pizza steak hoagies and he had two of those so he didn’t have room for the veggies – his loss! Lol We were both yumming over supper last night only I was yumming over the veggies and he was enthralled with his hoagies.

So tomorrow husband is off work and he is going to go pick up Isaac and take him to a tractor pull. I called sister earlier this week and secured the “play date”. Jimmie is about as excited as Isaac is about going! Well, today, we (and by we I actually mean sister) about had an Isaac meltdown on her hands. Jimmie called me this morning and said that his work was asking for volunteers to go do a job this weekend (leaving today) in Virginia. So Jimmie called to see if I wanted to go with him. He said his first instinct was to tell them no but then he thought that maybe that would be a nice little trip. I told him, umm you promised a 5-year old that you would take him to a tractor pull – are you really going to tell him you’re not going now? He said that I had an excellent point so he would stick with the no he had told them earlier. After we hung up, I got to thinking – oh if it’s near the beach – how can we pass that up? So I called husband back and he had found more out about the job and it wasn’t close to the beach and it was in the middle of no where so I’d be stranded in the middle of no where while he went to work so he said he definitely told them no and also he didn’t want to be the one to promise something to Isaac and not follow through with it. So I thought that that was really sweet and crisis averted!

I’m excited too because after he and Isaac go to the tractor pull Jimmie is bringing Isaac home to our house for a sleep over! I think Jimmie will be taking him to the men’s breakfast at church on Saturday too and then we’ll all head back up to Ohio Saturday afternoon for either a cookout at our cousin’s house or just more tractor pulling…that plan is still up in the air…

Well…I better get a little more work done…toodles!

I'm sure Isaac will LOVE that!! :)

Jealous over the garden...I never got anything in the ground this year, so it will be to the Farmer's Market for me this year!! I've got this salsa mix & canning instructions to go with it, so I'm fiddlin' with the idea of doing that, though...with real farm-fresh tomatoes, though, not grocery store wanna-be's (as I am told).

Anyways, you're going to have to share some recipes!! Pizza hoagies sound nummy-licious, as does your veggie concoction. Do you just sautee everything (the veggies, I mean!! LOL not the hoagie!! LOL) in some non-stick spray? Use seasoning? I'm gonna need some details!! LOL :) Maybe once a month or once a week we'll have to share a recipe on our blogs, kinda like a recipe swap...

Okay, nmj :)

Love ya!!:)

How sweet of Jimmie not to go back on his word to Isaac. I'm sure Scott and Missy appreciate that too! ha ha!

That's really neat that they wake up to the Chris Tomlin song. I still find it interesting that one of our secular stations plays Mercy Me songs!

Mmmm...I, too, am jealous of your veggie garden. I REALLY need to read up on when/how to start one for next year! Have fun at your sleepover tomorrow night! Love ya!

Yes, Isaac is very excited to be Jimmie's pal for the evening! I hope he does good...you never know with kids! He thinks it is very cool that he gets to do this stuff without Faith Anne! LOL

Dinner sounds yummy....you need to come and cook for my family! I just don't want to....nor do I have the time to really cook anything!

Sorry that the chlomid is making you more whacky than normal (LOL). Still praying.....

Okay, need the recipe for those pizza hoagies! I am hungry and those sound so good right now. Details girl!

The chlomid made me like that. My students would even walk on pins and needles. And yes, we did procreate, so there is time when Jimmie won't be scared of you! lol! What dosage are you taking? That extra dose can cause all the difference in the world!

Lots of Love!

*cough, cough* Hasn't this whole recipe thing been discussed? That's like Kelley saying "I went to eat here." and not telling me what she ordered. That's cruelty to Foodies.

Ahhh....summer. The time of year when Jodi teases me by telling me what she has harvested from her garden.
