Two posts in one day…I know right…lol…
Well I just had to share this because it is a funny….I could kick myself that I forgot to take my camera to the party on Saturday. Hopefully Missy got a picture of Jimmie…my husband…oh my heavens…he is always telling Faith Anne that he’s a princess too. Last year when we threw mom and dad that anniversary party and we played the Newlywed game, one of the questions to the women was If you could describe your husband with one of the following words, which would he be: Princess, Perky, or Picky (I can’t remember exactly what the 3rd choice was). I immediately said that Jimmie would be a princess…and that has been our running gag. So anyways on Saturday, Missy had these princess hats for all the little girls to wear. I’m sorry, I should say, for all the little girls and Jimmie to wear. I told Faith Anne when we first got there to tell Jimmie if he was a princess he had to wear a princess hat and he did….for the whole party. At one point, the neighbors next door let their dog out and their little boy also came out and the dog was jumping all over the little guy and he was just screaming. So my big ole hillbilly husband, wearing his princess tiara, jumped over the fence and went over to the neighbors house to make sure the little boy and the doggy were ok. We all said, we could only imagine what the neighbors thought when they saw Jimmie coming…he is such an entertaining boy…I love my princess husband…lol
Anyways…Just thought I’d share that….oh and also…make sure to visit Missy’s journal and wish her a happy birthday…she is 31 today! I told her that this is what 30-somethings tell themselves to make themselves feel better so she needs to practice saying it….”They say 30-something is the new 20-something”…I really think the “they” in this instance is 30-somethings trying to make us all feel better…but ya know…it sounds good anyway! lol

Man would I like to see Jimmie in that princess hat! LOL. I was so bummed I was sick b/c I knew you'd be at the party too and I could see you, but oh, well. Keeping my germs to myself was more important!
I think you have a great perspective on praying for our enemies. That's neat that you had a decent conversation with one of yours!

Glad you are helping out in VBS. You have such a gift with children and with arts and crafts.....glad you are putting them to use! I bet you will get asked to do lots more once they see all you can do! That is the only scary thing about helping out! LOL
