Me, Myself, and What's-His-Name

Umm I feel the need for a quicky post…I don’t know why but I just haven’t been in the mood to journal lately…I still owe ya’ll a picture of the new color of my living room…I know you all are just on the edge of your seat! Lol I really love it though….

Anyways so Friday night Jimmie and I went to Belterra for dinner and then instead of going to a movie since there weren’t any movies we wanted to see, we gave the casino admission and popcorn money. I actually am glad I didn’t win though because after winning so “big” the last time, losing $22.00 brought me back down to reality. I’m still ahead so I guess I just gave them back some of what I won last time right? Anyway, Jimmie watched some guy at the craps table (I’ve never understood that game, but then again, I’ve never really watched anyone play) but he watched some guy lose $500.00 in one roll and then bet $500.00 again and promptly lose that too!! I just can’t imagine betting that kind of money! That would just make me sick to my stomach. Umm so I sauntered up to a machine that I thought was a penny slot and I put in a dollar, thinking that I’d be at the machine for a little bit anyways…one spin…didn’t win…tried to spin again…huh…nothing…oh this machine must be broke…so I hit the cash out button…nothing…only then did I look closer to see that it was a dollar machine! Lol…I’m a nerd! But we had a good time….I’m too chicken to spend much more than $20.00 there though…

Umm Saturday…has anyone ever spent 5 hours at a restaurant? I did on Saturday…oh joy….one of Jimmie’s cousins is getting married at the beginning of September and they had her personal shower this weekend. So Jimmie and I went up there for the evening. I told him that we were just going to a Mexican restaurant so it’d just be a few hours, so he could go hang out with his cousins. Over 5 hours later! Geez oh petes….his family, I should actually say most of the women of his family, are very slow to do anything type people. Like someone will suggest something and maybe an hour will go by before it comes up again and then another hour before something is actually done. I was actually very proud of all of them though because we got to the restaurant on time – we were surprising the bride to be and since everyone got there on time, we succeeded. She walked into the restaurant and said to Luke…hey there’s your family…lol…it was cute…anyways so yeah…I had fun but it was still on my nerves that we stayed there that long. I rode there with Jimmie’s cousin though so I couldn’t just say ok, I’m out folks…lol…but like I said, we had fun….then we went back to get the guys and they were all going to go play volleyball…I said that it was too hot and too late for us and we hightailed it outta there…

Ok so before I do Big Brother ramblings I have to tell you all how God showered His protection on Jimmie and I last week. Jimmie came home from being out of town on Thursday – he got home earlier than usual – and the house was full of smoke. The furnace, which we were using the fan of to circulate air through the house – had shorted out and the breaker had not tripped. It was very close to igniting and there was smoke throughout the house. I had smelled smoke the day before but could not find the source and they are doing construction on our road so I just thought, when I couldn’t find the source, that it must have been from them pouring asphalt…so it had been shorting out for at least a day. We are just so thankful that all we have to deal with is a left over faint smokey smell….so PRAISE GOD!

Now BB ramblings…

I’ve about had it with Evel…his game tactic is to intimidate people but I’m just tired of watching his drama and meanness.… I don’t like Jen but I don’t like how cruel everyone is being to her either…it’s just getting old….

I’m sure I could ramble on and on….I just giggle every time they show Amber crying…that girl is a mess! I’m afraid that our America’s Player Eric has become a target this week though….it’ll be interesting to see what BB does if he gets voted out….will they tell the house or will they choose someone else? Or will there be like a vote him back in thing? I dunno…

Well…it’s time to go home so I’m going go….
