Blizzard to 60's in 2.5 days....

So this weekend we had a blizzard and today it’s in the 60’s… sunny and beautiful… guess it’s true what they say, if you don’t like the weather… just stick around cuz it’ll change in a blink…

I can’t believe next week is Easter! Wowie! Jimmie and I have tickets to the Southeast Christian’s Easter Pageant. It’s all new this year… so that’s exciting! We are going next Thursday so that will be a really nice way to kick off Easter Weekend. Then on Sunday we’ll probably go to our community sunrise service and then head up to Ohio. That’s what we did last year and we liked that.

No phone calls yet… I think we’re going to start bugging someone. Of course, I wouldn’t want to rush the process. I mean if they are trying to keep all our criteria in mind, then it might just take time. Plus, ya know… it’s all in God’s time. He’s in control! Jimmie and I were talking about it and in a way, it’s a good thing that they don’t need us because that means that kids are not being taken out of their home and bad situations… but on the other hand… we want a kid now! Lol… so just continue to keep us in your prayers… patience is not either of our strong points!

Well… American Idol… I must say little David really disappointed me last night… I mean he was still better than some but he was just not on his game last night… how disappointing. I hope he does get kicked off because of it… I really doubt it, but ya never know…

I have to say that at first, I really didn’t want to like David Cook (the rocker guy). Even though I could admit that he was very talented, at first, there was something about him that I didn’t like… I actually think it was the way he had his hair colored in the front that made it look like he was having a comb-forward to cover a bald spot. But the stylist have gotten to him and made his hair look better and spruced him up some. That sounds so shallow, but it really made me cringe when they would show him early on. But he is way talented and he’s totally grown on me…

Chickezie was by far my favorite performance last night though… that was just awesome!

And I really like the guy with the dread locks… after he sang last night I told Jimmie… men wouldn’t get it but his performance would really appeal to women… he is just like enchanting or something…charming… dreamy… lol…

And I just love Brooke too… she just seems the most genuine to me…

Well there’s my Idol ramblings… tell me what you think!

Happy Wednesday…. Has anyone seen my sister and my cousin??? What is up with them not journaling anyways…lol

Sorry you haven't gotten a child yet. It will come. And you might want to call just to make sure that all the papers are in the right spot. We had that problem when we went through the fostering program in TN. We had everything turned in, but the papers weren't where they needed to be. Just a thought.

I agree with you on AI. I was so disappointed in David. Forgetting his words?!?!?! I'm sure it's rough though. I totally agree with you about the rocker's hair. I was like just let me listen to him cuz I don't want to look at him. lol!

Have not a clue where Mandy and Missy are. Sad when you're asking the Journal Pals for your family! lol!

Lots of Love!

LOL...I agree that it's pretty bad when you have to ask us where your family is! ha!

I have to agree with you about AI. I also LOVE the Australian!!! I definitely think a guy will win this year!

Sorry you haven't gotten a kid yet, but as you said, God's timing is perfect and you're right, hopefully there's just not many kids right now in bad family situations. We'll keep praying, though! Hang in there! Patience is not a virtue of mine either! :)
