I have two pieces of news to share with you and to ask for your prayers for... first... Aunt Barbara passed away in her sleep, peacefully, in the middle of the night last night. Her husband Claude was by her side as she left his old world for a much better place. Please pray for all her family and friends as she was deeply and widely loved. Please pray especially for her husband and her children...
The second piece of news is that the girls' social worker called this morning and advised us that their grandmother has been approved for the girls to go live with her and they will go home with her after court next Wednesday. This is obviously bittersweet news for us. I'm happy that they will be reunited with their family members, however, they take a piece of our hearts with them... please keep the girls in your prayers that the transition will go smoothly and please keep me and Jimmie in your prayers as well... our hearts are broken but we've never been more sure that we're doing the right thing with our lives at this moment...

What a bummer of a day...huh? My heart is just breaking for everyone. I know that Aunt Barbara is in a much better place and she is completely healed and enjoying the sites and sounds....
but I feel for everyone here who will miss her so very much. But what a legacy she leaves....so many loved her and so many were loved by her. I am so proud of who she was and the legacy she leaves....
And I know that this will be so hard for you and Jimmie...but what a blessing you all have been for those two beautiful angels. We will all miss them so much, but God is in control of this situation and He knows what is best for them. I am just so proud of you guys...so stinking proud!!!

I'm so sorry about what's going on. I pray that God wraps his arms around you and your family as you go through this death in your family. Especially praying for Claude.
Good and Bad news, huh? You have been SUCH a positive influence in these girl's lives. I am so proud of you and Jimmie for all that you have done for them. I pray that God leads you down the next path in your lives. I hope the girl's grandmother is as positive influence as you have been.

Yes, lots of hugs and love to you and your family! I'm so sorry about your aunt, but I know you can take a little comfort that you know where she is.
