I must say that life is looking up...granted, it hasn't really rained for a week...but bless his heart, husband has been working really hard to stop the leaking...he did fix the stove wahoo...so we decided that we can have Thanksgiving here after all...sooooo...I went to the grocery today and bought a turkey...I'm cooking the turkey...my first turkey!!! lol...Now I"m not gonna be like the chick on America's Funniest Home Videos who thought that the bag inside the turkey was the stuffing...lol...but it will be interesting..

ok...I"m watching or rather listening to the Amazing Race...and I have to say that there is a family on here that has a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE attitude...it is totally buggggggiinnng me....agh....sorry...don't mean to freak out...but they bug the heck outta me...lol...it's the widow and her children if anyone follows that show...they blah blah blah about how much better they are than the other teams because they are "Christians" and in the same breath, they say hateful things about the other people....I just can't stand the attitude that people think that God loves them more or something...it just totally rubs me wrong...because they are one of the more hateful teams but then they pat themselves on the back for being "Christians" .....sorry...

ok...I need to go watch this...I'll probably not journal anymore til after Thanksgiving...oh unless I show sister how to tweak the HTML while she is here....lol...the new background is to appease her...she said the other one was a little busy...and I sort of agreed...it was pretty but this one is a little more subtle....

Good luck with the turkey :) It'll be yummy, I'm sure :) Turkey really isn't that hard to cook ;) I made one for the inlaws once (we were in our 1st apartment). It turned out good...I wish I'd had a roaster, though, like Missy's bringing you!! :)
