I'm still alive...lol

A very brief entry just to let you all know that I haven’t fallen off the earth lol….

The murder trial started last Tuesday and is expected to last 2 to 3 weeks….work is crazy!! (one comment about something we heard yesterday that will stick with me for the rest of my life….for some reason the woman made an audio recording of her husband’s dying moments…she shot him and then recorded him begging for her to help him while they waited for EMS to get there…but the eerie part was his groaning…have you ever heard someone who has been fatally shot? I pray that you haven’t nor ever will have to heart that let alone see that. It’s not a sound that I will soon forget…the groaning of a dying man…it made me shiver…yesterday was a very heavy day…I called husband at lunch just to hear a happy voice…it really got to me man!)

anyway…I sit in court with the Judge and collect the evidence…so since we’re in Court all day…other things are not getting done…I haven’t been returning phone calls or been able to do any of my regular work…agh…lol….

Anyway….so then when I leave here of course all I really want to do is stare at a wall….so…I will probly be MIA from the journal scene for a little bit…hope all is going well with everyone…I do try and pop on and read journals occasionally….so many people in my thoughts and prayers…..

Hugs all around…

She shot him and then she recorded him? Okay, that is a little odd!! Sorry that your days are dreary with that whole thing...YUCK! Praying that you find something happy every day to keep your spirits up!!!!!
Lots of Love!

While I think of how neat and interesting it would be to work for the courts and get to be present during some trials, I definitely wouldn't want to hear a recording of a dying man. That woman's insane! I hope you have a better day today!
