Not Guilty

The jury came back with a verdict late last night...around 11:00....yes I was still there lol...so I didn't go to work today....

They found her not guilty....her defense was self defense...it was a whole bizarre trial...basically he was a psycho steeped in this drug culture and abusive and she admitted to shooting him and then for some reason she taped him dying...maybe to get him to incriminate himself? I don't know...she didn't take the stand so we'll never know her thinking on that one...but a lot of people were pretty surprised at the verdict...she has been on the news a lot today talking about how she is going to focus her attention and healing by helping other victims of domestic violence...so hopefully she will...

the whole thing has left me blah....I'm glad that work will be getting back to normal now...with our average crazies and not the deadly kind...lol...blah...

the glucophage is doing its thing...making me regular...why did I want that again? lol...but it also upsets my stomach...blah...anyway...I'm scheduled for the tube test thingy next Wednesday and then I'll see the OBGYN again...

ok....I don't have much more to say cuz I'm feeling blah so I'll go lurk...hugs all around!

Is the tube thing the dye thingy? LOL! If so, you might want to take the rest of the day off. I had a few baaaddd cramps afterwards. They were gone in a few hours, but still, better home than at work!
Glad the crazies are gone!!!!

Lots of Love!

I can't believe it was not guilty! Mom told me yesterday and I was like...huh? Wierd. But just glad that it is over.

Okay...so hopefully Kelley didn't freak you out with her comment up there....I know how freaked out you can get.....it won't be that bad! And better to just get it over with so you have one less thing to worry about!!!!!

K...on AI....they TOTALLY need to get rid of Kevin! Am I the only one who thinks he sings through his nose?!?! I can't believe they like him so much!!!

Love ya Sis! Hope work gets back to normal!!!

I'm more freaked out because it's going to be a male doctor doing that procedure...for some reason I prefer women doctors....but I guess I have to get use to being exposed to all sorts of people if I am planning a pregnancy!! From what I've heard (and seen) all sense of decency goes out the window!

Is Kevin the Bobby Brady look a like? he does need to go lol...

You are too stinking hilarious! I have to share this story with you, I know you'll appreciate it. I'm sure I've probably told everyone 100 times how Joe was a surprise and that I found out I was pregnant (17 weeks along) at my pap. Well....what I'm sure I didn't say (because I am just so embarrassed by my hypochondrism) was this was the conversation...
Doc: (popping her head up) well, it appears your cervix is closed.
Me: (bolting upright and clutching my knees) Oh my God, am I gonna die?

I know we had sex ed class at some point in high school, but really the only part I paid attention to was "have protected sex or you might get pregnant"...see how well I listened??!!

Thanks for sharing your hypochondrism with us! Thanks for the prayers!

You better be glad you know who's doing your procedure. I had some guy who wasn't from these parts. I kept asking him to repeat stuff. Now, I'm sitting on this cold table with this napkin covering my entire body and this foreign guy telling me what's going on. What I thought he said and what happened where two different things!!!!! LOL! I almost called for a translator!!!

Lots of Love!

I'm with ya on the male doctor stuff. My female doctor is great! It's bad enough showing your "goods" to a stranger, but a man at that! When I had the dye test (mine wasn't as bad as Kelley's, so take comfort in that) a guy did it. Not my favorite moment in time, but you do what you gotta do! When I had my C-section, I was drugged up, but I was still horribly embarrassed about everything being put out on the table...literally! I hope things go well for you!
