Praying for patience....on the double! lol

Well…I’m bummed…our quest to be pregnant has not gotten off to a very lively start…lol…there was a fire in Evansville…one of the whatchamacalits that husband installed when he was with the old company shorted out and there was a fire so he is once again doing contract work for his old company in Evansville Indiana this week…which is at least 3 hours from home...he left on Sunday and expects to be home by Thursday at the earliest...and he already had a job scheduled away from home on next Monday and Tuesday...almost all of which falls under that "magical" time...lol…so it’s a mixed blessing…because of course he’s making all this overtime, which helps with the whole tax issue I recently journaled about…but it’s hard to work on the whole getting pregnant thing when he’s 3 hours away….thank goodness the doc hasn’t started me on the chlomid yet….what a waste that would be!! grrr lol

You see, now that we’ve made the decision to be pregnant…well, I expected to *viola* be pregnant...not entirely realistic I know….but that’s how I perceived it…impatient person that I am…lol…I’m all about the instant gratification man!

What a lesson in patience this is going to be huh….grrr…oh well…I just had to vent a little bit about that…

One nurse summed it up best….she said isn’t it ironic how ya spend your 20’s praying you aren’t pregnant and then ya spend your 30’s praying to be pregnant!!…now I’m thinking that the 20's to 30's anology probably doesn’t apply to most of you journal goddesses….cuz I think I’m the oldest among you…lol…but it was a very true statement to me!! and you can change it to apply to early 20's vs late 20's lol...cuz judging by your comments...I know I'm not alone in not magically becoming pregnant...by the way...thank you all for your comments and advice....it's very needed and very cherished!

Well I must pretend to work….lots of love and prayers!

p.s....I go for the tube thingy tomorrow...so please pray for my nerves...lol...also, as per Kelley's advice, I plan on going home after instead of coming to work...just in case

toodles...

That is exactly how satan works. Hubby was working a job that took him out of town for 5 days of the week and home only on the weekends. Of course, Tuesdays or Wednesdays would be the magical time, so it was bad. Who the heck knows how we got pregnant! LOL!

Remember that there is usually (well, for most people...didn't work for us) a 3-5 day window before and after the magical day! Mine was so messed up that I joked about only having like an hour a month that I could get pregnant...I'm beginning to think that was truer than I thought!!! LOL!

Good luck tomorrow! It will go fine and you will just have a nice day from work tomorrow afterwards!

Lots of Love!

Good luck tomorrow! I'll be praying for you! I don't know if they told you to do this or not, but I took about 3 Advil prior to help with cramping. I also went home afterwards, but that helped me a lot. Hopefully once you start the clomid, your hubby will be around to "do his part"! :)

LOL :) "do his part"!! LOL :) I don't know why, Sara, but that made me laugh out loud :) LOL

I've never had this tube test thingy done, so I'll just be praying that everything goes well, and that you have a nice, easy day off work tomorrow afternoon :)

Okay, gotta go :) Talk to ya later :)

Praying for you Sister....I am sure it won't be pleasant today...but hopefully this helps in your "quest"!!! Just tell your Hubby that he might have to come home for a few hours once you start the chlomid.....or you might have to go with him! :)

Praying for you today....LOVE YOU!!!
