Wednesday comes in the middle of the week ::singing:: does anyone else know that song? I forget where I learned it lol

Greetings Earthlings….

So here’s my take on American Idol….in case anyone is interested lol…

After the first three people sang I thought…well there was the bottom three…cuz the rest have to sing better than that…..but oh my heavens…I think maybe it was because it was current music and the comparisons were inevitable maybe…don’t get me wrong a few people were ok…but for the most part…everyone had an off night….I liked the song that Mandisa sang (Shackles by Mary Mary)…I was excited when she announced what she would sing…and what an awesome testimony! But she had plenty of sour notes even though it was a powerful performance…I really liked Chris’s performance of the Creed song What If…but I can recognize that that probably did not appeal to everyone watching…I think Bucky should always wear a cowboy hat because that greatly improved his looks and also he did a great job...lol…Ace is handsome…but his “smoldering stares” at the end of each song are getting old and sort of stalker-esque….Paris is a doll…but last night she was sort of tarted up…it was kinda like watching someone play dress up…she did great with the song though….Katharine was pitchy…Lisa did not do well at all…if you’ve read my journal previously, then you know I’m not a fan of Kelley Pickler…I thought Elliot did a great job…but I love that song so I can’t tell if I liked his singing or just love to hear that song….even Taylor, who did excellent, was boring. That song was not my favorite…but it was nice for him to show off his vocals…he can definitely sing….anyway…there’s my AI ramble…aren’t you glad I shared?

So the more I look at that paint chip the more I like…I still can’t remember what it’s called and I still haven’t been to Wally world to look at their paint samples…plus I gotta get the stuff to take the wallpaper off…so much to do lol…just get on with it already! Lol I have a huge procrastination problem! It’ll get done…eventually….

Husband did his test today…so I have an appointment next week to go and see what the results of all this testing is and to see what the next step is…I have a feeling that I’m going to have to do more procedures…something is not right with me…I won’t go in to details but I think something is not working right in my body…as far as my cycles n stuff…I’m just way off kilter…maybe it’s the glucophage trying to work or something…I dunno…but…I do have a sort of peace about everything…it’s in God’s hands…so I’m not going to worry about stuff I have no control over….

I have to tell you that I have been attempting to monitor my body temperature…and that is so not going well…I don’t think I know how to correctly place the thermometer because I get readings in the 60’s…and I know like 98.9 is the norm or something and any chart ya print out to try and track that starts in the 70’s so I’m thinking that I’m not doing something right there either lol…..

Well…I better try and finish some thing before heading home…mom called and dad has made a big turkey dinner with dressing and mashed taters and everything so husband and I are heading over there for dinner…wahooo…I don’t have to cook!! Yay! Lol….

I cooked a meat loaf last night…it’s the first time I have attempted meat loaf in many years…in the past, that hasn’t went well so I stopped trying to make it…well I made one last night and it turned out ok except I put too many onions in it…but it was pretty yum…so I think I’m adding that to the rotation again! Lol

Have a wonderful evening!

No fair that you get to eat the turkey dinner tonight!!!! Save some for me!

I agreed with most of your Idol rambling.....I thought it was cool that Mandisa sang a Christian song. What a testimony. It will be interesting to see who leaves tonight! I liked that it was only one hour because then it was over earlier...but it seemed so rushed!

Praying for you and the whole "female" stuff. I know it isn't easy....but it will get figured out. God is in control!

Love ya!!!

Buford for president! Just thought I'd throw that out there. I can't wait to see what you pick out for the room - so make sure you share! I am keeping you and hubby in my prayers.

Love in Faith,
Josy

I'm so glad that you are putting that in God's hands!!! That was the hardest thing for me....and still is! It's wonderful to see how calm you are...or seem to be!! LOL!!

You have a basal body thermometer, right? It's so sensitive!!! You have to do it at the same time every day. It might also be just not for you. It wasn't for me!!!

I like your take on AI!!! Last night was ROUGH!!

Lots of Love!

Yeah, that basal thermometer thing is a bunch of hooey in my opinion. I could never get it to work right either, so I just said forget it!

I agree with 99.9% of your AI ramblings. I just dislike Paris with a passion. Maybe I'm just being moody? Anyway, I also am so proud of Mandisa! What courage to sing a christian song! I loved it. Okay, enough about me!

Hang in there with all the female stuff. It's an emotional roller coaster, that's for sure, but it's so worth it in the end!
