Happy Wednesday

Hello…so I haven’t journaled in a while but I’ll try to be brief lol….

Umm so we’ve had a jury trial going on this week at work…it has actually been a very interesting one and it has to do with some local government officials so I’ve been learning about how KY local government is structured and ran.

Since hubby and I grew up in OH, of course we had OH History which laid out the structure of OH government, so neither of us really know about how KY government is structured…and we’re nerds like that and like to know…and I gotta say, that I’m honestly thinking of looking more in depth at the variety of offices that are out there because I’m entertaining the idea that there may be an office for me out there somewhere…lol…weird huh? Me an elected official? Anyway…I think it would be fun…and the county that husband and I live in we both so fit in and I sort of have a “network” through work and church of various officials right now…anyway….that is jut totally a slight idea in my head…

Husband has been pursuing entrepreneurial ideas as of late himself….we’ve even made business cards…this is such a more practical idea than the whole pizza parlor idea…and actually I suggested a long time ago…but now it’s his idea so he’s all geeked about it….a handyman business…he’s very much a jack of all trades and I think he’d do fabulous with that….so it’s in the early stages of becoming a home business!

Nothing much else has been happening…Sunday night mom stopped by with my other nieces and nephew (my other sister’s kids) and we grilled hotdogs and played karaoke….I cannot get over how big they are getting…DD is almost as tall as me! It was such a good visit…the youngest girl was in a very cuddly mood and I will always take cuddles!! Lol….they each took a turn playing Simpson’s Road Rage on PS2…oh my heavens!! Lol that game made me and my mother motion sick!!! Just from watching their driving….it was really funny!

And really that’s all the excitement that’s happened…I’ve been working late each night so I haven’t gotten to really get out and enjoy this fabulous weather…husband and I are trying to brainstorm some landscaping ideas though…

Hope everyone has been having a great week and plans to have a blessed Easter! I am in the process of catching up on journals…I haven’t even had an opportunity to lurk that much!

Oh I guess I should really talk about AI last night since it was totally my favorite theme night ever!!! Lol Husband even watched the whole show with me (while I took notes even) and he hardly ever sits through the whole show…but it was great…I am still a Chris fan…his voice is amazing…even though I’m with Simon…not the best song he coulda chosen…I thought the song Taylor picked was absolutely perfect for him….and even though I don’t like Paris, I can admit that she did fabulous…I didn’t love Kelley’s version of Bohemian Rhapsody though…it will be interesting to see who goes tonight…my pick for bottom three would probably be umm…Bucky, Ace, and Kelley (or maybe Katharine)…but we’ll see I suppose…

Well…I’m off to get some lunch….have a blessed rest of the week!

I hope Mom and Dad are having a good time in Gatlinburg with the kids. You just never know how they will be at that age...they will either think it is cool or that it is nerdy, ya know? I haven't talked to them because I am sure I-Man would throw a fit if he knew they were there without him!

Oh...one more soccer story I forgot to share. At one point, I-Man was telling one of the coaches how to do something...I think she was trying to tell him to kick a goal and he was telling her...."No, here is how you do it." Priceless. Truly no words for how cute it was!!! I can't wait for T-Ball practice! Man, the stories we will have to share!

Hope the business works out! That would be cool! I wish Hubby could do his landscaping business...but it takes so much money to start that.....I mean buying the equipment and such. Oh well, we can always dream, huh?

Love ya!!!

hey sis...yeah...at least with the handyman business husband will be able to work his way up to better tools...lol...but I was telling him that maybe eventually, if he's successful at all at this, he will be able to parlay into something like that with Mac Daddy...I know we're partly dreaming up stuff as we go along but he does talk every once in a while about getting Mac Daddy and our other BIL into some sort of landscaping business scheme...husband wants to be a "silent partner" and I keep telling him a "silent partner" usually has lotws of moola...which of course we do not lol...

oh well...it is fun to dream!

oh and I just talked to mom and they are having a great time...they's been swimming every day and they went horse back riding and to the mountains yesterday! I'm sooo jealous! and I know I-man would be too...so we won't tell him...I'm sure he;ll get to go with them in a few years though!

ok this is starting to be as long as an entry! lol

Since Mandisa is out, Chris is the way to go. I did not like a lot of the singing last night. I feel like they don't pick songs that they are good at....just the ones that they like!

That would be cool to say I know...what, the senator, or better yet, the president!!! I'll vote for ya!!! Good luck with the business and the political venue!!!

Lots of Love!

I was SO not impressed with AI last night...Although the last 2-3 were good (of course, my man Taylor, now that Mandisa's gone). I thought he chose well :) I had no idea that that was a Queen song :)

I'm with Kelley, I'll vote ya fer President, too!! :)

Jodi for president! Would the handyman side business take the place of his regular job? Just curious because I need some things fixed around here, lol!

Have a Happy Easter,
Josy
