so let's see...Saturday husband and I had a leisurely morning and then we headed to Ohio...we ate a Cici's pizza because when we called mom and dad they sounded frazzled and like they needed some time to get organized before we got there...so then after we had lunch we headed over there to color Easter eggs with I-man, FAB, Sis and BIL....husband and BIL watched baseball while we colored eggs...FAB was stinking cute even though it was obvious she didn't feel well all weekend....she and I had to drape a trashbag over ourselves because she liked throwing the eggs in the color cups and watching the colorful splash...lol
a little while after we colored eggs, we all decided...umm...why not hide them now! lol...so we did and I-man and FAB had a few practice egg hunts lol
then everyone left me and husband lol....I got to cuddle with FAB though and so me and hubby watched a movie called Racing Stripes...husband said we could have done this at home....I said yup...oh well...but like I said...I got to cuddle FAB so it was all good! Mom and dad had to go to the grocery and sis and bil and I-man went to church for praise team practice...then they came back and collected FAB and went home...husband and I stayed up visiting with mom and dad for a little bit but then we all decided to turn in a little early because we were planning on going to the sunrise service at 6:30 AM! I set the alarm for 4:30 (because it takes approximately 45 minutes to get to our old church) but God had His own wakeup call in mind lol...with the lightening and thunder...
It was such a blessing going to our old church's sunrise service....we saw so many people and reminisced so much! then when we got back to mom and dad's, mom and I were in the kitchen getting things ready for the dinner and mom found this Christian radio station and they were playing all our old Easter favorites...He's Alive, I'll Rise Again...Via Dolorosa...and many more...mom and I were singing and fighting back the tears...and dad came in and was trying to tell a story and we told him to be quiet...lol...he was offended...
dinner was yum and we hunted eggs again several times with I-man and FAB...then hubby and I loaded some stuff up for mom and dad and we were down the road....because of some confusion we missed out on the fact that the rest of our family got together over at grandmas...which was a bummer because it would have been neat to see all the little ones...dang it! lol...but then again, with FAB feeling so yuck...it may have been better that we didn't go over there...I just hate that there was confusion...our family is such a fly by the seat of our pants type family that sometimes things don't pan out correctly...but overall I had a great Easter!
Next year we may stay here in Kentucky and go to our home church first and then drive up...because I did miss our church family too! Husband just got back from men's group a little while ago and he said that they said there were 239 people at the service yesterday morning...they were bringing up chairs from the basement...they also talked about The Freedom Experience, which came to our county last week...over 300 people were saved!!! wahoooo!!! It's great to hear that that was a success!
well...I feel funky...this will probly be a strange entry because for some reason I feel like I'm typing under water or something...blah...probly I'm sleepy or something lol....
we're having a yuck jury trial this week...I won't even journal about it because it's yuck...I don't want to listen to it much more...I think it will be over tomorrow though so that's a good thing...but there are more yuck ones coming up...blah...
well I'm still feeling funky so I'll go...I may go lurk ....lol...toodles

I'm so glad that you all had a wonderful Easter. It's nice to just get away! Your hubby sounds like my hubby when we are at our parent's house and doing the same things that we do when we are at home (you know, like nap and watch tv). LOL!!!
Sorry that the trial is so yucky this week. Don't let it put you in a yucky mood.....think of the wonderful Easter you had this weekend!

I feel exactly like your graphics! Funny! Glad you had a nice Easter, but I missed seeing you at church. It's always fun to go back and visit old churches. I loved doing that when we moved from Kentucky. Good people down there! Hope today is less "yuck" for you!

I am also sorry that we missed the communication on everyone getting together at G-ma's house. This is the 2nd time we missed out on that! Maybe they just don't want us there! I am having a pity party for myself about that. Who knows what happened?

I-Man had a soccer "scrimmage" last night. He did good! I was so proud of him.
Well, I was glad that we got to spend time with you guys this weekend. Again, sorry we all left you on Saturday night. I wish we could've stayed and played games! I miss playing games like we used to...we haven't done that in a while!

yeah I miss playing games too! lol...but I was thinkin ya know how husband said...we could do this at home (referring to watching a movie while I cuddled with FAB) even though we could watch a movie at home, we rarely do....so it was actually sort of some peaceful time...and plus FAB ws in the mood to cuddle! lol...
I'd be fibbing if I said I wasn't a little disappointed that everyone left us...but I can recognize that we all have busy lives and so I'm over it!
and yeah...I'm wondering what happened with the comunication about going to grandma's...that is weird!
