Wednesday's Ramblings....

Funny story….so this morning I was eating breakfast and watching Good Morning America and dreading having to go get that MMR shot today. I was thinking ok I could call and cancel my appointment and then if the doctor asks I would just pretend I had gotten the shot…just then GMA reported a story about this huge recent outbreak of mumps and how a lot of people are getting the mumps and measles because they didn’t have the second shot and it’s spreading and blah blah blah…umm…message received….lol…so I went and got the shot….whoa I’m having de ja vu like I dreamt this or something…

Ok I’m ok now…lol…that was way strange….anyways…so I went and got the shot today and YOWIE that HURT! (are ya getting that I’m a total wimp yet? Lol) and also I whine to anyone who will listen….

I was talking yesterday on the phone to my former co-worker who drove me nuts when she was here but when she left I realized how much a liked her…anyway, she had apparently called and talked to judge a good while on Friday and so she asked how my toe was and then she laughed and said that she was telling another mutual friend how funny it is that everyone knows every little thing about me! Toe thing…shingles thing (so last year lol)….and of course now the trying to conceive thing….oh well…maybe I share too much…I feel like that I hold back the worst details though…lol

Yesterday when I was coming back from lunch I passed an Ashley Furniture van so I called my mother to see if they had just delivered her furniture and they had! How funny! So after work I went and saw the new furniture and I’m so jealous…I love my furniture but I want big chunky feet on my sofa! Lol….anyway…gorgeous furniture! Although, we aren’t recommending Ashley Furniture because mom and dad ordered this furniture almost two months ago and only just recently received a partial shipment….how aggravating! But the furniture really makes the house a little more homey….it’s funny because the first few times I was there to hang out in the living room or whatever, it really had this feel of sitting in some posh hotel lobby waiting for them to show you to your room or something….it’s a little grandiose…dad keeps saying they are the Beverly Hillbillies! Lol

Well…umm not a whole lot else to journal about…oh….the birds that I discovered the other day while mowing are Killdeer….I knew as soon as I saw the name I’d remember it….we have a bird book here at work in all those books that judge dragged in so yay! I’m thinking of starting a bird watching journal (the paper type) and maybe sketching the various birds I find in our yard…birds and flowers…I like to know the names of flowers too…aren’t I a nerd? Lol

Oh my heavens…wasn’t Idol great last night? My favorite part was when Kellie didn’t do that great…lol…isn’t that absolutely hateful? I really think that in all reality the girls should comprise the bottom 3 tonight even though I think Kataharine did well on her song, they were right about the comparison to Whitney and not being up to parr (I think they could have said the same to Paris regarding Barbara Streisand)….but it’ll be interesting regardless because there is so much talent left. Chris was AMAZING….that was better than the original recording of that song by a long shot and I loved Elliott too…although I gotta agree with Randy, I didn’t love the arrangement of that song…poor Taylor…I love him but that wasn’t great…but I still think he’ll have plenty of votes to keep him there….but we’ll see…I tried not be a spoiler Kelley! Lol

A new LOST is on tonight WAHOOOO ::doing a dance:: someone should really start watching that so we can journal about it….or I could go to a LOST fan chat board I suppose…anyway…it’s a fun show even if they are making it up as they go along! Lol
