It's Monday again.....

So I had a pretty good weekend...I'm still happy to have the wallpaper removing project finally done in the bedroom...now it's husband's turn to do drywall stuff...it's a slow project...lol

ummm yesterday...church was awesome...we had a special guest singer who was really great...at first he reminded me a little of John Denver...but then he rocked it out toward the end with some excellent takes on old hymns like I'll Fly Away and Amazing Grace...and then he went into some praise songs like Amazing Love...which always makes me tear up and to hear someone with such a rich wonderful voice sing was just truly wonderful...so great church service! Also husband and I have been learning a lot from the Song of Solomon thing...I defiantly want to go to the conference when it comes back this way...so Sunday School great....church service great...oh man... the special guest told Preacher P to hop on the piano for one song and I'm telling you what every time he plays the piano, Preacher P just impresses the heck out of me...he is one of those guys that plays the entire keyboard and whether he's heard the song before or not he can pick up the tune or key and just roll with it...the guy called out a key change in the middle of the song and neither of them skipped a beat (the special guest played guitar like no one I've ever seen play guitar too!)

anyways...so then after church...and I do mean it was like being in CHURCH!! lol...husband and I went home and changed and then took a drive...we had an Applebee's gift certificate that we have been meaning to use...so we went for a drive...ate at Applebee’s (we sat at the bar because it would have been a 45 minute wait for a table and so we had some pretty annoying company - a man and a woman that totally made husband and I appreciate each other that much more! lol) then we went to Lowe's and looked at windows...the bedroom upstairs that we're working on needs windows...we found a kitchen that we both fell in love with and if we ever hit the lottery and build our dream kitchen...I showed husband this feature that I've seen on HGTV...the pot filler...it's basically a faucet over the stove to fill your pots...we eat a lot of spaghetti at our house...that would be uber handy!

Then we went to see Poseidon....really good movie...I've never seen the original...but this was really good...like 5 or 10 minutes in the action starts and doesn't stop...the special effects were pretty great...there was a drowning scene that looked so realistic that I’m still trying to figure how he did it and he’s still alive…

then we came home...and watched the Survivor finale...once Cirie lost the challenge I was kinda apathetic because I didn't like or dislike any of the people left enough to care which one won...for some reason I didn't want Danielle to win...and Terry's arrogance has been grating on my nerves the last few weeks so I really didn't want him to win...but I'm not a big Aras fan either so...lol...this was one of my favorite groups of Survivors though....it just seemed like they picked a really decent group of people this time round...I really wish Bruce (or Mr. Miagi as I called him lol) would have been able to stick it out…it would have been cool to see him win….oh well…

So then I overslept this morning…but now I’m here at work…Sister had called and left a message yesterday that she saw trolleys…lol…I tried to call her back but I only got her voicemail (which I was kinda glad to get her voicemail because that may mean that she is not answering calls from work on her vacation too!)…but it sounded like they were having fun when she called…I don’t know if Daddy Mac ended up taking his laptop or not…so I guess we’ll just keep our eyes open and see if she journals or not…

Well I better try n get some work done…hope everyone has a blessed week!

I'm glad you had a good weekend! Sounds like you had a nice relaxing day yesterday! I'm jealous!

I didn't want Danielle to win either. I liked Terry, though. He did have some cockiness to him, but I didn't like the way Aras was acting lately either. Oh, well. If it couldn't have been Terry, then I'm okay with Aras. I think it's funny that you called Bruce Mr. Miagi! ha ha. I got a kick out of that! "Wax on, wax off!"
