It’s Tuesday….I was having major motivational issues this morning…I did not want to get out of bed…and once I was out of bed…I didn’t want to get ready for work….lol…but eventually I made it here…
So not a lot to journal about but I think journaling has become a compulsive habit…a part of a daily routine….so here I am…
My little pool was just the perfect temperature last night so I went out and played a little while…I’m such a big dorky kid!! Lol…I have discovered that the pool is just barely big enough that I can lay on my tummy on a raft and kick around the perimeter….so exercise while having fun!! Lol…it doesn’t work so well without the raft because I hit the bottom…lol!! But anyway…so I played for about an hour…laid in the hammock to dry off and then went in to fix supper…we had smoked sausage, mac n cheese, and squash….and it was cool enough to eat on the porch…..which has become one of our favorite times of the evening! It is so pleasant to have supper on the porch and then just sit back and enjoy the breeze….so we sat out there a while and then husband had to head off to Evansville, IN….blah….he’ll be there I think till Friday…maybe Thursday…anyway, after he left I took a cat nap because I was soooo sleepy…watched my soap opera…which when I was telling hubby what is going on right now…somebody has a doctor buried alive….sounds so far fetched and ridiculous really….how do I get sucked into watching that?? Lol I’m thinking of quitting it…lol…it’s on my nerves right now anyways…umm…so then after that I went up to the computer and played Sims til bedtime…
So there’s my quiet boring Monday in a nutshell…ya’ll know how I’ve been journaling about my latest obsession with purging junk and cleaning…well it has carried over to work too….people are guarding their files with their lives for fear that I’m going to throw them away!!! Lol….seriously people…I know the difference…now give me that huge binder!!! Lol….
Well..happy Tuesday…I’m going to go get some lunch…oh by the way….for all those doubters out there…I looked through my hair magazines last night again…I’m trying to get the inspiration…sister…thanks for the offer of your guy…but is that practical? Lol to go 2 hours away every time I need a hair cut? I think actually, what I want to do is, this weekend show you and mom the cuts I’m thinking about and then go while you are here….MAYBE!!! I’m a woman and it’s my prerogative to change my mind!!! Lol

Yeah...You should go this weekend! And let Mom and I go with you to make sure you really do it! LOL You are so silly! What is it with us women and our hair?!?! But you're right, it is our perogative to change our mind....a million times! :)
Is Buford going out of town again this weekend? I thought that is what Dad had told us. Seems like he is traveling a lot lately!
I know what you mean about those silly soap opera stories. Mine is really silly right now....but I still find myself sitting and watching it every night! GEESH! I was telling KK about it and she just cracked up.

I'm impressed with this cleaning stuff. Sounds like people are scared...that is an okay thing...people will get over it! LOL! YEAH...we've turned you into a neat freak!
Okay, I'm sending Mac-N-Cheese to you this weekend with the intention of you going and getting your hair cut. Make sure that you take before/after pictures!!! You crack me up!!!!!

There is nothing wrong with "playing" as an adult. That is half the fun of having kids and neices and nephews...you get to play with toys again, and it's alright!! When Pretty was little, I would see commercials for cool toys and we would just have to have "for her". Baby finally would start saying we were shopping for me and Pretty could play with them too.
Relaxing in the evening sounds so nice. At least someone in your family is relaxing...your sister is busy enough for the both of you. LOL

I'm glad you got to "float" around your pool some. I missed not being at my in-law's pool last weekend!!!! Eating out on a porch sounds nice....if we had a porch!
I hope you have the guts for a new do and that you like it! Definitely would help having your mom and Mac-n-Cheese there to coerce...umm..I mean support you.
