Ramblings....

So I don’t really feel like doing an entry but I thought I’d at least let ya’ll know I’m alive! Ummm… so it’s been a while since my last entry….

Friday I had the day off and husband took the day off too…so first I took him to a pizza buffet for lunch (his birthday was Sunday so we sort of celebrated all weekend!) So then we got to talking about what he wanted for his birthday so he had a few errands to run which didn’t interest me in the least so I talked him in to dropping me off at the flea market (my happy place). When he came back to pick me up, I had spotted a “dinner bell” basically a very large cast iron bell, and I told him that I was thinking of getting him that for his birthday. Well he didn’t like the style of that one but he said that was a really good idea so we ran to several places looking for a bell…we finally ended up going to a different flea market on Saturday and he picked out a toy tractor (he collects toy tractors)…lol…but anyways, we had a really fun day just driving around together on Friday…at one point we toyed with the idea of driving down to the hillside in Somerset where we have family reunion and camping on Friday night….so we ran home and checked out the weather forecast and it called for rain on Friday so we ditched that idea….I like camping when it is chilly out but NOT in the rain…yuck!

So I got a new toy…I got this credit card offer that if I transferred my balance I get a laptop…so I took them up on their offer…it is a better interest rate too! So anyway Friday when we were out running around on the way home we passed a UPS truck on our road….we both speculated that perhaps he was attempting to deliver my laptop….sure enough when we got home there was a little post it on our door from the UPS guy….so we took off after him!! Lol…we caught up to him and I got my laptop!! I gotta say…I love it! It’s a Dell…dude I got a Dell! Lol…

anyway so at reunion BIL brought his laptop to the hotel and he has this pc card which is like a cell phone so that he can get internet…I used to be sooo technologically savvy but I’m soooo slacking….lol…I had no clue what that was…anyways…my laptop has a slot for one of those too…on the way home from reunion we stopped at a Cingular store and found out that they don’t sell the kind of card needed for my laptop - it’s apparently new technology and no one carries it yet…so when I got home I researched and discovered that indeed it’s new….instead of a pc card it’s an express card that I need and the guy at the Cingular store said that several people had been asking about this recently and they probably wouldn’t carry it until December….blah! Lol….so for now I’m just using dial up at home…blah blah blah…I’m boring me so I’m know I’m boring you…..

I’m on vacation this week!! It’s been soooo nice! We aren’t going anywhere…actually husband isn’t on vacation…so I’m bumming around the house…getting little things done that I don’t have the time or energy for usually…lol….nice relaxing vacation!!

Reunion was fun! The weather was awesome!! My favorite part was playing games back at the hotel with the cousins and sister…we always have such a fun time giggling!

I am sooo proud of the girls for getting their act together - although I’m still weirded out by how Boogie and Ericka were acting…that kinda put me off of being a fan of her…anyway hopefully the girls keep it up and boot out Booger - I mean Boogie- lol….I know that I’m the only Janie fan in the journal circle…but GO JANIE!! If she goes to the final 2 I don’t think she can lose! I really wished Boogie went before Will but it was very entertaining to watch last night as Janie booted Will!! I’m sooo proud of her!

As for sequester, what the heck is wrong with Howie??? What a loser!! Oh man….I was just watching him last night and thinking UGH…I defended him early on but there is no defending the way he is acting know…that is just annoying and pathetic….

Umm so I guess that’s about all I have to say…I’m really not in the mood to journal but it does look like I found something to say!! Lol

I’ve been lurking but not commenting….again with the mood!! Lol

Praying for Kelley and hubby for the upcoming weekend!! I’m praying that God will totally guide you all in this decision!!

Praying also for my nephew (and his mommy and daddy) and his first “full week” of school!
