Happy Monday!

I realize that you all had probably become accustomed to my sporadic journaling so this latest entry after having recently typed an entry, may be a bit of a surprise…lol

So I’m in a weird mood…can ya tell?

Umm…DON’T FORGET TO GO VOTE TOMORROW!!! It’s an honor and a privilege to actually have a voice in what big government does…if you don’t vote ya can’t complain!!

Husband and I have been talking about it and what this country really needs is an honest to goodness actually viable third party….right now if you see someone running as say an Independent or a Libertarian they are, generally speaking, nut jobs….but really a real third party or even a third and fourth party would be great because the Republican and Democrats have both become so power hungry and the country so polarized between the two, that it’s really going to be the demise of our political system if there isn’t some sort of checks and balances put into place to keep the parties from dominating things the way that they are. That and the political ads are just getting so hateful and ridiculous….I don’t know how half them people are showing their face in public if they are as evil as their opponent says…”He eats fish with a spoon….she wears press on nails”….arg….enough already…my goodness!!

Ok…off my political soap box…I’m sure the political ads are driving ya nuts so you don’t need them invading your leisure time….but really…if you are reading this be sure to exercise your right to vote tomorrow (Tuesday November 7)!!!
Husband and I always make it a date night! Lol Oh and we will have to write-in someone for the first time too…how exciting!! I’ve never voted for a write-in candidate before lol…

Umm so this weekend my sister and her angel babies came down and I’m telling you what, I-man is just at this VERY VERY SWEET age….he was just down right precious and funny this visit….and FAB…what a fun age she’s at…she is definitely a DIVA but she is so stinking cute about it! lol and Baby…what a precious little bundle of peacefulness….I was holding her Friday night a little while before I went home for the evening…and she is just so warm and cuddly that I was sitting there falling asleep! Lol…sister, mom and I did some shopping on Saturday and husband made a pork roast on the grill for dinner…it was just so much fun to have everyone over! Sunday sister came to church (we had kind of a different service – a lay sermon and kind of a strange special music time) and I got to hold Baby all through the service….I did lots of making up for not having seen her very much!! Lol….anyway, it was such a great visit and I’m always sad when it’s time for us to part…I miss my sister bunches! But it was just a really nice visit…love you sis!

Well not really much else to tell…I guess I better go grab some lunch….have a blessed week!!

I didn't get to the polls Tues...I know, I know, I'm such a bad American...but my registration is messed up since we moved...King got his changed, but didn't bother to help me change it at the same time...whatever...anyways, I'm getting that straightened out...I really do feel guilty for not doing my civil duty...I know, you're disappointed, too...so is my Dad...

I'm glad you had a great visit with your neices & nephew :) They are precious!! :)

Better go...talk to ya later :)
