Christmas cards....

This is going to be a cheeky post….lol

The following appeared in our church newsletter this past week. I totally plan to do it! Here it is:

“Christmas Cards!!!

Yes Christmas Cards. This is coming early so that you can get ready to include an important address to your list.

Fun with the ACLU Wanna have some fun this Christmas? Send the ACLU a Christmas card this year. As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice, CHRISTIAN, card to brighten up their dark, sad, little word.
Make sure it says ‘Merry Christmas’ on it. Here’s the address, just don’t be rude or crude (it’s not the Christian way, you know!).

Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze up their operations because they wouldn’t know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 39 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that is no such thing as a ‘Holiday Tree’ – it’s a Christmas Tree even in the fields!”

Like, I said, I’m totally doing this….as a matter of fact my card is just waiting to be mailed. Inside I wrote “Please protect ALL free speech”. Because after all, it seems that a Christians right to free speech is the only free speech that seem to not count to them….so have a little fun this Christmas!! But be nice!

(If anyone doesn’t know what the ACLU is – where there’s a law suit trying to stifle all things Christian, they are there…the whole “one nation under God” trying to ban that phrase – ACLU funded lawsuit. Just one example of ACLU’s work at it’s finest. If anyone is interested, there is also a Christian organization which is the counterpart to ACLU. It is called ACLJ and here is a link their website ACLJ).
