Reality TV and other ramblings....

I have not ranted about tv for a while so I have decided it’s time… lol.. aren’t ya glad?

Really I just want to wahoo about the Amazing Race… I was totally rooting for Nick and Starr to win and in case you missed it and were wandering… they appeared on Regis and Kelly and Starr said that she and Dallas are and have been dating since the Race… awww… incidentally I did not realize that her last name is Spangler… Starr Spangler…. Lol… her parents must have been very patriotic… also, I was shocked to learn that Nick has a girlfriend because I could have swore that he would have a boyfriend rather than a girlfriend… but good for him! I was really on pins and needles during the finale because I didn’t want that couple to win… I’m glad they patched up their relationship during the Race… but I didn’t like them and didn’t want them to win… so there…

Ok now on to Survivor… I’m glad Bob won, in a way. I was really rooting for Matty through most of the show but the last few episodes I was rooting for Sugar to win just to spite that hateful Corrine… her comments to Sugar during the Jury Q & A were highly inappropriate and showed what a poor loser Corrine was… seriously I wish someone would have brought that to her attention… because that is what she is… a sore loser… and to want to have been portrayed more like the troll Randy… ugh… not sure why someone would want to be known for being nasty but whatever…

Hmm… what else… I’m done with my Christmas shopping and it’s mostly all wrapped too so I’m like so ready for Christmas to be here… I did a lot of internet shopping this year which was so nice cuz then I had to just sit back and let it all come to me… I found a great website with stuff for Jimmie… so I got him a lot of things with his favorite tractor logo on it… I’m very excited to see him open his presents! Last year we opened presents before we headed to Ohio because the Oklahoma crew was visiting so there would have been too much commotion for us to have time to just enjoying opening presents… but I have to say, it wasn’t the same as opening presents Christmas morning so we’re definitely waiting this year… another different thing we’re doing this year it sounds like is just having a relaxing day at mom and dad’s. We’ve talked Jimmie’s dad and girlfriend into coming up to mom and dad’s and the rest of Jimmie’s family is getting together on Friday or Saturday so it will be nice not to have to run around visiting everybody and their brother, which is what we usually do. We will be going over to Missy’s for brunch I think… but that will be about it… I miss getting together with the rest of the family, ya know cousins and aunts and uncles… when we were little that is what we’d do on Christmas day… but everyone’s families are growing so much that it’s kind of impossible these days…

I’m also excited because Jimmie and I both have the whole week after Christmas off… I told him it seems like we ought to take a trip or something… but he hasn’t been home a whole lot lately and he said he’s really looking forward to not doing much… can’t blame him there either…

Well… I just got a load of work dropped on my desk so I better get at it… thank goodness I have something to do! It makes the day go by so much quicker!
