We got an A+ on our English Project!!!

Austin and I worked ALL DAY Saturday on a project for his English class... Saturday morning I was asking him about the project and he said its for extra credit so it's not a must do project and I said umm it is if you have an F... duh....

Anyway so they could pick talking about the Crucible in diary form or they could make a game so we decided making a game was easier and more fun... so we worked all day and got it done!

There was a picture of a Crucible playbill on Wikipedia and as soon as we saw that I said we should recreate this picture for the game board... so we did and I think at the time Austin was mortified that we were doing this but once he saw the picture (he loves to see pictures of himself lol) he liked it... I laugh everytime I see it.. our first family portrait! lol

The English teacher emailed Jimmie and I yesterday to say how cool the picture was and to let us know that Austin (and I! lol) got full credit for this project and along with all the other partially finished assignments he turned in last week, by the end of the grading period (which is Friday) he will have a passing grade! It's sort of aggrevating in a way because Austin is such a smart kid and I quizzed him all day on Saturday about the Crucible and he knew all the material... so why hasn't he done better in this class! Grr...

Anyway... just wanted to share the picture and the grade update!
