So we ended up going to see Weezie Saturday evening after husband got home from work we dashed up there....we mostly visited with his cousins...Weezie, for lack of a better description is a shell of the person she once was...we last saw her like in May and she has aged like 50 years since then....it was just soooo very sad....after we visited a while, she came in (with lots of assistance) and just sat with us for a little bit and then asked to be helped back in to bed....before we left we went in to tell her bye and shortly after is when I lost it...I just wasn't expecting her to be that bad...I don't ever think I've seen someone I love in such a state....I've seen very sick or very elderly people...but this...oh my heavens...it was just heart wrenching...so husband and I have been tearing up off and on and just hugging each other and consoling each other...I felt sooo bad when we left, because I was tearing up and her daughters were comforting me! I thought it should have been the other way around, but of course they've been helping her for a little while now, and one of them said to me, we've been doing that a lot around here lately...it's just so sad...ugh...but one of the things that husband keeps saying is, that we need to celebrate her life...she really had a full fun life...it was just sad to see her the way she is now...husband has been sharing about when her husband died of colon cancer and how he sort of dwindled away too...it's a very tough thing...
anyway, now that I have you all thoroughly depressed...blah...
they had a cat...so on top of being emotional, I immediately began sneezing when we gott here...I'm highly allergic...so today with the crying and the sneezing, my sinuses feel absolutely wonderful (totally sarcastic)...and on top of that I got to go sit at Beef O Brady's and watch football...yippee...thankfully the Bengals won...but we watched the entire game....the entire game...I hate football...just for spite, when we left, I told husband that I was secretly rooting for the Browns...lol...not really...I'm a Bengals fan but I don't really like to watch football at all...and we're not even going to discuss the Wildcat's performance yesterday...it was not a good weekend for UK B-Ball fans...and I think we are in for a very tough season....it's not looking pretty...
church was good this morning...the children did their Christmas program...and then the did that interpretive dance to "I can only imagine"....I started BAWLING as soon as they announced they were going to do that...(big baby)...lol...but they dedicated it to a woman who's son was killed almost two years ago now in a really trageic incident....so oh my it just emotional....
then we came home and there was a message from dad to meet them at Beef O Bradys...we did and I've already whined about that (the company was nice though....dad told us a VERY funny I-man story...they went out to eat one night this past week and dad asked I-man if when they were old if he'd come pick them up and take them out to eat and I-man said...welll...they might make fun of you papaw, because by then you will be out in the patch (the cemetary) what a funny little boy...
anyway....then when we left there, we went to the preacher's wife's surprise party....and we totally surprised her...they told her she was going to someone else's party, so she came in with a gift! lol....but it was a nice party...lots of food and cake....the girls did a great job!
and now we're home and husband is trying to fix our pellet stove...and I'm fixing to watch Survivor...not really sure who I'm rooting for to win because I wanted Bobby John to win...but he was booted a long time ago...I think that Judd will put on a show when he gets a chance to say something...
well...I am going to go see if husband fixed the stove...it kinda sounds like he did...we have a jury trial this week...so work may be intersting or boring...I'll tell ya tomorrow...lol...I may be writing more long letters...lol...
ya'll have a great week!! Lots of love all around....

Sister...sorry to hear about Aunt Weezie. I agree with Buford, celebrating her life is a great idea...and what she would want! Praying for the family....
Sorry you had to sit through the whole game...but at least it was good company!
