I rearranged my office yesterday and I love it! It is soooo roomy and homey…yay…I should take a picture sometime lol…anyway…I have this huge three part desk and me and this lady that helped me, we had to take it apart and move it in three pieces…and needless to say, I think I over did it cuz I was so sore last night! Lol But it was totally worth it because we made so much room that I was able to bring in a bookshelf and I needed one so badly! Lol so yay…I’m all geeked about my “new” office…we had to flip the desk so I have to get used to how the desk flows from what I’m used too…but blah blah blah…that’s the excitement in my life right now…how sad huh lol!!
So we had sort of an eventful Superbowl Sunday and I’d actually like to tell this story with the request for prayer for the people in it…I don’t know them but God does…we live in the middle of nowhere…lol…so when fire trucks zoom back and forth it’s an ordeal….so husband followed them and a big ole house down the road from us a ways was burning…the fire trucks kept coming to the hydrant in front of our house for ours filling up their water tanks to put out this fire…there was no one home at the time…the firemen saved a cat…but the house was still smoldering yesterday afternoon…the people were apparently not home at the time…I don’t know them but my heart just goes out to them…having to come home to something like that…ugh…
we took care of the firefighters when they were in front of our house…husband set up some of his big lights so that when it got dark they could see the hydrant when they pulled up to fill it…and he’d run out and talk to them every time they came by…
the Superbowl wasn’t that exciting…Aaron Nevel hurt my ears with that redention of the anthem…I’ve never been a fan but that was awful…I was rooting for the Seahawks, because I don’t like the Steelers (it’s a whole Bengals vs Steelers rivalry)…but I really don’t like football much – I just do not understand that game…in my limited understanding of it, there appeared to be some bad calls and the Seahawks really played pretty sloppily…but blah blah blah…the commercials were ok. I had a few favorites…but it seemed like the good ones were few and far between…the half time show…we didn’t even watch…I have never been a fan of the Rolling Stones so that was a dud….remember the half-time shows when we were little? They were this phenomenal musical number with all sorts of bells and whistles like fireworks and colorful displays…just this big production and now it is some sort of concert thing? It’s just a let down from the “old days”. Lol ok…there was a “In my day…” speech for you lol….
Well..it’s about time to go home..so I’m going to post and run….catch you bonitas later!

I couldn't agree with you more. I am NOT a Steelers fan because I do NOT like their coach....he has always said some really bad things and I just don't like his attitude!
I LOVED moving my office around. When Hubby would come into my office, he would just roll his eyes about how often I would change it...can't really do that in an apartment, but I can do it with Pita Pocket's room....he's not that big on change though!! LOL!
Yeah, the beginning of the Superbowl was awful...I couldn't stand how the National Anthem was sung....pick people who can still sing! AARRGGHH!!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Lots of Love!
I agree....I hate Aaron Neville....I almost left the room when they said he was singing it. "Goose-Man" as I call him. And man, Aretha Franklin sure has gotten fat! It was almost painful to look at her she is so big!
That is sad about the fire down the road....I can't imagine coming home to find everything you own gone! How sad....and I can just see Buford out there all excited to help the firemen!!!
Glad you like your new office! I can't move my desk around....but I always like it when I clean it good and re-situate things. I haven't done that for a while....maybe I will do that today!
Love ya!!!
I read this yesterday but didn't comment, but after reading Missy's journal I wanted to comment. I know the situation with your parents has been a heavy burden for both of you - it's hard when we love so much - but I know your parents made this decision with God's help. I will pray for you and Missy to be real sisters to each other through this.
