anyways...I hope everyone had a great weekend...I must say that I haven't read journals in forever or posted cuz I've been in Ohio! We had a great visit...I got to give Kelley a great big hug! It was so neat to be in church with sister and everyone on Sunday...even though I couldn't hear them singing! lol the music was great though!
umm...so we have a murder trial starting tomorrow at work so the courthouse is going to be chaotic for the next few weeks...rats, I won't get to journal at work like I usually do lol!
we had a dinner tonight at church...Methodist men's group but they invite the women so there'll be more people there...we learned about ummm...The Freedom Experience or something like that...it's basically like this illusionist and some bmxers and skaters and stuff and a youth ministry tour thing...it is coming to our little county in April...I'm thinking of volunteering to be a counselor or something to help out...that was totally my scene when I was a teeny bopper! lol...My high school friends and I liked to rock out and hang with skaters and just be...ya know...so I am totally down with that scene as a ministry tool...it is so cool to have something like that to reach out to today's youth! Anyways....
when I got home from Ohio (did I say this was going to be a short entry? lol what was I thinkin??) anyway...when I got home yesterday, husband was really down...a lady from church who she and her husband are about our age and husband and this guy just connect on so many levels...well, she has to go in for a biopsy on a lump that they've found in her breast...that bothered husband so much...first because that's how it started with his aunt Weezie...and he happens to have had to fill out paperwork for her estate this past weekend also...and second he said that it just made him think of how he'd feel if it were me...and he was just really down...so we just cuddled on the couch a lot when I got home last night....
he seems to be in better spirits today...at the dinner I went and hugged the lady a whole bunch and let her know that we will so be praying for her...please keep them in your prayers this week...their names are Jack and Sybie...thanks!
ok...so today I went to the obgyn...and she is so nice and really easy to talk to...I'm really happy about that! We didn't do much today...basically we just talked and set up appointments....lol...she gave me a cup for husband!!! that has made me giggle all day! I couldn't wait to present it to him! lol...so anyway...she put me on prenatal vitamins and as soon as we see what the tests say, depending on the results and stuff...Clomid....
on another topic...my sister is a fertile turtle!!! lol!!! I'm going to be an auntie again!! I have another chance to have a neice or nephew be born on my birthday too I bet!! lol wahooo
I told sister that me and hubby better get on the ball so that we could get pregnant together! lol...husband is keeping me down to earth through all this though...because ya know, we may find out that it won't happen for us, so we have to prepare ourselves for that possibilty too I guess...but it's more fun to entertain the thoughts of us becoming parents soon...lol!!
Well...I am getting sleepy and I want to watch the end of the Bachelor...so

I laughed OUT LOUD because I had to take Hubby to the doctor for the "test". He was back there for a while. I asked what took so long and he said that he didn't know when to come out....if he came out too soon, they would laugh because he's fast and if he came out too late, they would think he couldn't do it! It was HILARIOUS!!! The 2nd time he got to do it at home!! LOL!
That would be awesome if you and Mac-N-Cheese were pregnant at the same time!!!!!!!
Lots of Love!
My hubby went through the "cup experience" too. I went with him, though. It's a nerve wracking thing for a guy! I'm really happy for you and Buford and I hope to hear about a new niece or nephew for Mac-N-Cheese soon! I'm praying for you! Wish I could have seen you at church last Sunday! We were out of town. Know you're getting lots of prayers and encouragement!
ROFL, about "the cup" LOL :) It would've made me giggle all day, too :)
