Well…the Jury now has the case…it has been an interesting trial…very eye opening to this sheltered girl about how differently people live….lot of weirdness…..
Anyway…I won’t even try to catch ya’ll up on every lil detail of my life…lol….it’s just been a busy couple of weeks…I went to a baby shower for George a long time ago…lol…how fun! It is just going to be fascinating to watch George be a mommy…and her husband be a daddy! I got to spoil I-man and FAB a little bit too while I was there! That’s always fun…and to hug my sister and “congratulate” her about her news…lol….I put “ “ around that because I can tell that she was still getting used to the idea at that point….I’m very excited to have a new niece or nephew!!….but I’m still getting over the surprise of it too...
Have I journaled about that already? Lol..I’m getting de ja vu…
Anyways…umm…so this past weekend husband and I had to make a trip to Ohio on Sunday….too late husband reminded me that that was the day we were going to start the Song of Solomon thing in Sunday School….but I had a wedding shower to be at for one of his cousins (and I was shopping for it on the way to it! Poor planning on my part) and he had to take his father’s truck to him…so we were heathens…arg….I am really bummed that I totally forgot about the Song of Solomon thing…hopefully we didn’t miss too much of it and they didn’t give out all the books so that we can catch up next week! Ggrrrr
So umm…let’s see…oh I had a sonogram (is that how you spell that? It looks funny) yesterday…one of the two tests that I have to take before she puts me on chlomid….and the tech that administered it said she didn’t see anything out of the ordinary…so that sounds like good news…before my appointment I started freaking out that they would see all kinds of monstorous tumors in there…can we say hypochondriac?
Seriously….a few weeks ago I had a rash around one of my ears (which incidentally has only recently cleared up)….I’m always having husband check my ears for ticks…I’m constantly afraid I have a tick behind my ear…so anyway…when I asked him to look at the rash….he declined because of my constant ear paranoia. He says he was tired of looking behind my ears! How rude! lol….so…the next time I saw my mother, I made her look at my rash…she said that probably I had not rinsed well after washing my ear and the soap had irritated my skin and to keep Neosporin on it…I was temporarily relieved. The rash kept getting funkier and then one day…ok…feel your head behind your ear…there’s kind of a lump there right? Probably the base of your skull bone or whatever….well one day that felt swollen and hurt like heck and I had a headache that wrapped around my head starting and ending at that bump…I’ve recently had shingles around my waist…so shingles was my first thought because I’ve heard of people getting them in all sorts fo strange places…agh…and of course, being the hypochondriac I am…brain tumor came to mind next…when I told my husband my symptoms he sarcastically told me I had an aneurism (so then I’m thinking…umm..I need to check Wed MD for aneurism symptoms)…he even told a cashier (who had absolutely no sense of humor) at Walmart that I was having an aneurism…well…heating pad and few alleve later…I was feeling normal…tumor, shingles, and aneurism free at last!
Why do I tell these things? Well cuz I have a self-deprecating sense of humor…I can acknowledge my own neurotic behavior and I find it humorous…nerd that I am…lol….and I know that you all have missed my antics…lol!!!
Can you imagine, that should the good Lord allow it. what kind of freakazoid paranoid mother I’m going to make…oh heavens…lol
So anyways…husband has yet to take the cup test thingy….he had to go work in Indiana for about a week…blah…he’s back now….we went to the movies Friday night and saw 8 Below….there are two dogs, the two main dogs really, that look exactly like our dogs so it was hard not to get all excited every time they came on the screen….husband calls our dogs his Angel Babies…so every time the doggies would come on the screen he’d whisper “Angels” it was sweet…if you haven’t seen it I highly recommend it….I was lamenting the fact that how sad is it that they can train their huskies to cry or put ropes around a man to save his life and we can’t even train one of our dogs to stay in the yard!!
So then on Saturday it was pretty out so we went out and played with our dogs and took a nice long walk…then I came in the house and put on some of my favorite cd’s and danced…lol…I made a few of the cd’s skip because I was jumping!!! Dork!! Lol….
Anyways….I have totally missed journaling and I will be lurking soon!!!
A note…Josie has been in my prayers so much. I haven’t gotten to read journals very much in the last several days but I have seen an email about her and a few comments…I just have been sending her thoughts and prayers…as I’m sure that all of you have been…I hope everyone else is having a wonderful life…life is such a gift…I really take it for granted so much….
Ok…I better get some sort of work accomplished….love and hugs to all the journal goddesses…..

Glad the jury has the trial now...hopefully they make a speedy decision!
Love ya!
You crack me up every time I read your journal! I need to start reading your journal when I've had a bad day just to get a laugh!
Funny that you were/are like that about your ear! I know people like that, but they don't have the sense of humor that you have about it!
Lots of Love!
So glad the "aneurism" cleared up. Doesn't sound too pleasant...Still praying for you and fertility thing. I'm glad the first test went well! No tumors! Woohoo! :) Take care!
Seriously, I was cracking up, too!! LOL :) There was something else I wanted to say...what was it?
OH!! I've really missed your antics!! :) I enjoy a good self-depracating sense of humor, too :) But, then again, we are brain twins!! LOL :)
Okay, gotta go!! Talk to ya later :)
