I'm happy cuz Kelly Pickler did bad last night on AI...lol...is that mean? I really think she was the only one who wasn't good...oh...well..I'm not a fan of Ace though either and I think he had some pitch problems...but other than that...it's going to be a tough night tonight...it's a tough call...there is so much talent!
the jury has the case...they got it yesterday before lunch and they are still deliberating...they have to come to a unanimous decision...and it's a he said/she said sort of case...so I don't envy their job one bit!
It was a bad subject...but I was preparing myself to hear a lot worse...so but I'm still glad it's over! lol
umm...not much else has happened...I've had to work late cuz of the trial so I haven't been able to get out and enjoy the pretty weather much this week...blah...it'll probably be another late one tonight...I was starting to worry about getting to watch AI last night until Judge came in and said...how bout you go on home...I said...OK!!! lol
ugh...I have an embarrasing problem...I have an ingrown toenail...I'm sorry...I should maybe post a gross out warning lol...but anyway...I think I've actually gotten most of it out but I think it's infected (picture a Rin and Stimpy type illustration lol)...I keep hoping that it'll clear up but it's red and swollen....course...it was getting better but then I worked on it a little more last night and so now it's yuck again...I hate to go to the doctor with this problem...but I'm thinking if it's infected then it isn't going to just go away by itself...I think I'll wait a few more days and then call for an appointment...it just seems like such a dorky thing to go to the doctor about because I get them occassionally and I'm able to take care of it myself...blah....

ok so we're having a benefit concert Sunday night for Relay for Life (which is a cancer charity spring drive - do they have Relay for Life anywhere else? it's a pretty big thing here) anyways...so I think I'm going to sing "Via Dolorosa". I got the soundtrack and it suits my voice...well there is a whole Spanish verse...so that may be the challenging part...but I love that song and it's really fun to sing! Also...I got to thinking about the skits we used to do at my old church...so I ordered the script book...has anyone ever heard of Isaac Airfrieght? They are Christian comedians/dramatists from way back...lol..anyway...there was this one that I did called the Bible Junkie...anyway so if the book comes in time, I may do that too...it should be fun...there are a lot of people that participate in the concert...
and also this Saturday is THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE....it's billed as the world's largest fireworks display....it's a half hour to 45 minutes of the biggest best loudest fireworks you'll ever see....ever been to WEBN's fireworks in Cinci?...this, I'm told, blows that away....anyway....I love Thunder!!....I sit there like a small child just oooin and ahhhin and just with my mouth hanging open takuing in the beauty of Thunder...I'm soooo excited!!!
Thunder is the kick off to Kentucky Derby Festival...not much gets done in this area the two weeks up to Derby...lol...it's funny because when I'm talking with attorneys trying to schedule various hearings...they'll be like oh that's no good...that's around Derby...it's a whole party atmosphere for two weeks...I definately get caught up in all the hype...

I hope the deliberation doesn't take long. Nice of the judge to let you go last night. I agree that Kellie stunk! I thought Chris, Taylor, and Katherine did a great job. Hello. I just wanted to post about the toenail thing. I had an ingrown toenail when I was pregnant with Pretty, mine was really bad and I can't leave that stuff alone. I had to get mine cut out. Not fun, so I would go to the doctor before it gets bad. The doc told me that I could get a piece of cotton and roll it in a tube shape and try to stuff it under the nail so that it elevates it and the infection can get out. Something about letting it breath and elevating the toenail helps to get the nail to grow out instead of down. Hope this helps, I get them often and this works for me.
I love "Via Dolorosa" I sang it at Bethany a few years ago. I am sure that you will sound great!!

You know who you can really talk to when we talk about poop and toenails! LOL! I say go to the doctor....tomorrow is Thursday....try to get one by Friday. You will feel so much better!!! Why take the pain!?!?
I haven't seen AI yet, so I can't read your journal tomorrow night till I see it! LOL! We usually watch both Tuesdays and Wednesdays show on Wednesday, but I was out tonight.

Ummm, I'm like you, brain twin, when it comes to "taking care of that by myself"!! LOL I understand your feelings about taking an ingrown toenail to the dr.!! LOL :) I would feel that way, too :)
Okay, I agree with your AI assessment today!! LOL :) I thought that Taylor did GREAT, and that Katherine did well, too...I think you just mentioned the top 3, but really, it's still too early to determine that, too...
