Wednesdays ramblings....

It is soooo stinking hot outside! My poor husband is working outside in this insane weather too…bless his heart! I went to the flea market at lunch and the little time I spent outside I literally felt like I was melting….

Ok enough whining….

Umm…so not really a whole lot to journal about…So I’ll journal about BB7….I’m trying trying trying to not read the live feeds of Big Brother but I get so obsessed and can’t wait for the next show that I like to read ahead and see what will happen…but like I said I’m trying really hard not to do that this year…I have been reading a little bit and I was really glad to see that they put some of Marcellas and Janie’s made-up story on there last night…they actually spent at least an hour on the whole plot and it was really funny! A thought struck me last night when I was watching BB…ya know Marcellas, after his season, was co-host of the internet question and answer show about BB…Housecalls I think it is called…I think I may have watched it a time or two…but anyway…so that was his job for the last two or three seasons since he was on BB….to watch BB and analyze people’s strategies and study the contestants…so I bet he has a serious handle on how to play the game strategically as well as a lot of the personalities that are in the house….I think he may be more dangerous than people are giving him credit for!

And Kaysar, Kaysar, Kaysar….is it just me or does he seem overly cautious and hesitant in the moves he is making? It seems like he is over thinking things and I’m with Janie…his nominations this week are pretty uncontroversial and they stink….that being said, I really like Nikomas and hope she stays…but she’s a lot smarter than Diane so strategically Nik is the one to take out this week….

Dr. Will is this season’s Jase and he is on my nerve and Jase is almost likeable…what’s up with that??

Ok so if you don’t follow BB…that whole three paragraphs was really boring to you…sorry!!!

So I was trying really hard to not go to the flea market…but I just got back from there on my lunch break….and despite my “I’m not going to buy anything” mantra, I spent $20.00…I got three books, a basket, a pretty old timey tin sign for my kitchen (I love tin signs!), and some pecans for snacking on at work…

So I’m learning how to use mail merge in Word…I’m not sure that it is any different than typing in the addresses in the address space but then again, we don’t send out massive amounts of letters…most of what I type are court orders, judgments, dockets etc… but someone for which judge is going to do several letters of recommendations suggested that as long as we have mail merge, it’d be a breeze to do several letters….so I have been on a quest to discover mail merge…it’s pretty self explanatory with all the helps and wizards and stuff…is this topic any more or less boring than the BB topic? Lol

I went out and looked at the garden last night…I go out every evening to see if any tomatoes are ready….I just know it’s going to be any day now!! I can almost taste them! Anyway, so we also have green beans coming on…and the garden needs weeded so badly! But it was just so stinking hot!! This weekend it’s supposed to be in the 80’s though so I guess I’ll weed and pick beans at the same time! I planted an eggplant plant this year too…and there is this little tiny eggplant that is starting to form…I’ve never planted eggplant so I don’t know what to expect! Lol…it got a purple flower bloom before the little eggplant started though…it was really pretty…that’s so amazing…the whole watching something form from a seed or tiny plant that you planted…and then being able to harvest and eat something that you (with a TON of help from GOD) nurtured…pretty cool!

So umm…guess I really don’t have much else to type about…I have been soooo tired lately…must be the heat probably….but I’ve just been having the hardest time getting moving in the mornings (I truly do envy morning people!!)…I was reading a medical article in Reader’s Digest about OTC sleep aids and I thought what I really need is an OTC wake me up in the morning aid! Lol…and then to top it all off, because I’m not very alert in the morning, I manage my time HORRIBLY….like I know I’m running late and I invent all these chores to do….like this morning, I was running LATE and what did I do with my time? I unloaded and loaded the dishwasher….I was also watching GMA while I made my coffee and had some breakfast and my vitamins and I didn’t want the dishwasher to drown out the sound of the tv so I thought I’d start the dishwasher later…well on the way to work I realized that I hadn’t started the dishwasher…argh…oh well…
