Note to Self

Got to paint this saying on something!

You may even see it on our adoption celebration invitation... which we are getting so close to having! one department is done with their paperwork and we have an attorney ready to file the adoption petition when he gets the go ahead from our worker! very exciting!

anyway, I just saw this saying on a wall hanging for sale on Zulily and wanted to put it down somewhere so I can find it later....

"Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life. No matter what."

so the other day we got a packet of copies of some of the kids' paperwork. Matthew's birth records were in there... along with a copy of his baby footprints! I cried happy tears to see them... to this woman who will never give birth to her own child, it made me feel connected in a wonderful way to Matthew's past and future. We will have to take a trip to Mexico to find Cali's baby footprints!
