Turn the page....

ahh the life of a foster family... we definately live life on the outer fringe of society at times.
We are drawing close to the end of our time with baby A. She has been with us since December 3, 2011. It was decided today that she will go live with her father and grandparents soon, once all the paperwork clears. It has taken far too long in my humble opinion and I just hope and pray she is young enough that she won't have any lingering attachment issues.

It will be a sad moment in that we truly were a family unit of sorts for a time. But happy in that it will be a family restored also. My role will switch from mommy comforter to mommy prayer warrior from afar to her. It's a growing list of little people and big people that are near and dear to my heart and I will cherish my time with each of them forever.

I also have the added worry this time around of how this departure will effect Matthew and Cali. We've been pretty clear with them since baby A came that she was only with us for a while. It's an interesting experiment, this thing we call life.
